RELAX in this clean, well decorated home on Lake Hartwell. Less than 90 minutes from Atlanta, 30 minutes from Greenville and 15 minutes from Clemson University. Great for entertaining or enjoying a quiet getaway. Leave the stress behind when you arrive as you take in the views from our deck overlooking the beautiful azaleas and quiet shores of the lake.
THE HOME IS PERFECT FOR FAMILIES. Upstairs, enjoy the large private Master Suite with full bath. On the main level are a Living Room, Kitchen, one full bath, a second Bedroom, furnished with a queen bed and lounge chair, and third Bedroom, perfect for children with two twin beds. Our kitchen is fully equipped for those who want to cook or entertain. The living room is ideal for gathering to plan the day's events, play games, read a book or watch cable television from a queen size sofa or loveseat.
SO MUCH TO OFFER!! Enjoy a short walk to many convienent amenities, which include a gas and grocery store, Bait and Tackle shop, and the beautiful Portman Marina (lake Hartwell's largest). There, you can enjoy two of the areas best restaurants. If you enjoy a great steak or fresh seafood, try the locals' favorite, the Galley Restaurant. If Asian fusion and sushi are the ticket, you will fall in love with Nami's. Dine on the outside deck and enjoy a beautiful Lake Hartwell Sunset. And, Thursday nights, check out the great live accoustical music on the deck(weather permitting).
BRING YOUR BOAT!! Walk the gentle slope down to the lake, where you may beach your boat or you may choose to rent a slip at nearby Portman Marina. If you enjoy fishing, you will be right at home. Lake Hartwell is nationally known as home to some of the largest freshwater Stripers as well as Large Mouth Bass. You will find the staff at the Bait and Tackle shop very friendly and knowledgable. They will be more than pleased to provide you with a selection of talented guides that are available year round.
SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING!! If you have had too much sun, too much relaxing and have caught too many fish, you may want to shop 'till you drop!! Our Lake Home is conveniently located 30 minutes from the Tanger Outlet Mall in Commerce, Georgia or 40 minutes from two major malls in Greenville, SC. You may choose to visit the downtown area of Greenville where you can enjoy a easy walk to several local eateries and boutique shops.
NATURE & ADVENTURE!! Only 10 Minutes away! Hike and bike at Saddler Creek park located on the eastern shore of the lake. Want more? Travel 35 minutes to the north where you can take a guided whitewater rafting adventure down the majestic Chatooga River. You may consider visiting the Natanhala Outdoor Center to make your reservations or discover the many adventures awaiting you.
