  The Unit we stayed in was awesome, great location, beautiful scenery, it was a wonderful experience.It was so clean and comfortable. Even my 3 year old wants to know when we going back to the house that has a pool on the porch. she absolutley enjoyed herself.

  Excellent location, very clean condo, larger than we thought. Exceeded our expectations. Lazy river and complex are outstanding!! You can walk to the Boardwalk for dinner, music, etc.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

  My wife and I stayed at the condo for the winter. We have previously stayed at Destin West. This condo was ideally located on the first floor with great accessibility to the pools, parking and street level. The unit was just the right size for my wife and I and we appreciated the amenities and the relationship we had with the owner Bill who responded quickly to questions we had about the unit.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  It was a perfect vacation in Destin this year. It was our first time there and all we find was excellent. Nearby the pool. Only short ways to the funtastic beach. The weather in October was fine too. Be sure to come back soon. The owner is very friendly and help you whenever you need held. Deutsch: Wir waren das erste Mal in der Region Destin. Es war dort wirklich wunderbar. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral am Pool und dem "Wasserstrudel". Kurze Wege ca. 5-7 min. Zum wunderschönen Strand. Mit etwas Glück sieht man dort auch schon mal Delfine. Wir waren die ersten Deutschen und können diese Örtlichkeit nur empfehlen. Sehr netter Vermieter der auch mal mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht.

  I stayed here with my 6 year old and 8 year old boys. The owner, Bill, showed a lot of hospitality with the entire experience. He gives tips and recommendations on good resturaunts and things to do in the area. The unit was perfect for young kids who wanted to go back and forth to the lazy river a lot. We didn't need to ever wait for the elevator when going to the lazy river as the condo opened up directly to the lazy river/pool area. Parking was also really easy as it was directly underneath the unit and we could just walk up one floor to our door. The lazy river was so fun and I was really glad that the pool attendants checked for the wristbands. We have stayed at another place before with a lazy river and it was obvious that people from all over the beach were jumping it and it was really crowded. Here they just made sure you had the wristbands but were never rude about it which was great. The proximity to the pier was great and we had so much fun fishing with the boys. The unit was super clean and the king bed was SO comfortable. Overall, great experience.

  The pictures do not give this condo justice. It is very well decorated and maintained. The king bed is very comfortable!! It's very convenient access to the pool area, lazy river, and the beach walk to the beachside of the Destin West. The condo was larger than we realized based on the photos. The only negative you can say about this condo is the lack of privacy from the people walking to and from the pool area. It is located at the main entrance of the pool/lazy river area but the easy access to everything outweighs the negative for me. Bill is prompt in his responses to you when you have any questions or concerns. Great condo!!

  Destin West is the best place to stay. There is something for everyone. Beach, pool, lazyriver, kiddie splash, hot tubs, etc. It is a family place. We have been probably 5 or 6 times, I have lost count, but we always stay here. The other part that I think is very important to know is it is very acceptable for special needs children. The families and staff are wonderful. I have a granddaughter with autism and we bring her everytime we go. She loves the water. I met several families with children with special needs this time and it was the first time for them and they all said they would come back. The other families there were most receptive and very friendly and helpful if you needed it. I just wanted to pass this part along because as a parent of a special needs child you always worry about where you can go with your children and if they will be accepted. It was a great trip, we enjoyed it very much. Hopefully we will be back next year. God Bless Bonnie

  I had such a relaxing time, which was very needed! It was so convenient to be in the L08 ground floor. So quick to go back and forth to the pool and lazy river. The decor was wonderful. It was alot like my own. I loved the REAL shells instead of just pictures of them. The staff were all nice and friendly as well. i willbe thinking of that week for a long time!
