Welcome to our home at Glacier's Reach, in Whistler Village North! After a busy day on the slopes or the trails, relax in your own PRIVATE HOT TUB on the second floor of the townhouse, overlooking the quiet, beautifully landscaped courtyard at Glacier's Reach.
Our air-conditioned, non-smoking, two bedroom, two bathroom townhouse is approximately 920 square feet, and is located on the second and third floors of the East Lodge building at Glacier's Reach. Entry is gained from outdoors, through a private entrance at ground level.
All Village activities and amenities are close by. You can enjoy your Whistler vacation without the necessity of driving anywhere. Whistler's Marketplace, a shopping plaza with bank, video store, restaurants, grocery, liquor, and drug stores is right across the street.
Ski lifts are an easy ten -minute walk, or if you prefer, a free shuttle bus stops frequently to take you to the lifts - a ride of just a few minutes. The Valley Trail, for cross-country skiing, cycling, rollerblading, and hiking, runs alongside the Glacier's Reach complex. Whistler Tennis Club is right next door. There are three golf courses within a few minutes' drive of Glacier's Reach.
The complex has a year round heated outdoor pool and communal hot tub, as well as fitness room with sauna and exercise equipment. Other features include free, reserved underground parking and secured bike and ski storage.
The townhouse is equipped to sleep a maximum of six people. The main floor consists of fully-equipped kitchen and dining area; living room with fireplace, stereo, sofa bed, Internet access, and TV/DVD/VCR; laundry area; and sheltered deck with private hot tub. The mezzanine level between main and upper floors contains a full bathroom with hair dryer and deep soaker tub.
On the upper floor are a master bedroom with queen-size bed and TV/VCR; en suite bathroom with hair dryer and jacuzzi whirlpool tub; and second bedroom with twin beds. The master bedroom opens onto a large, sunny private deck with a view of Blackcomb Mountain - great for morning coffee on a summer day!
We especially like the fact that the bedrooms in our townhouse are located upstairs, allowing for good separation from the main living area - the kids can watch a movie in the master bedroom (or go to bed early, if they're little) while the adults enjoy the hot tub and fireplace downstairs - or watch a DVD movie of their own on the large flat-screen TV.
This is our family's personal Whistler home which we love and use as often as we can! We maintain it in top condition, and have equipped it for our comfort and yours, with many extras which are not found in hotels, including games, books, videos, extra pillows, crock pot, blender, and much more.
