Sirenia is a very well maintained, well furnished, super clean and comfortable home on Shirah Street, probably the best street in Crystal Beach for direct beach access.
The location of our home is amazing. Just feet from the beach, in Destin's wonderful Crystal Beach community with its white picket fences, cottage-style homes, and sidewalks for walking.
Crystal Beach is lower density than most of Destin, or places like Panama City, with no high-rise condos permitted, and the neighborhood is perfect for families, yet it's in the thick of all that is Destin. Directly across the street from the growing and expanding Destin Commons shopping and entertainment center, Bass Pro Shops, and many top local and national restaurants.
Sirenia is a large home, sleeping up to 16, with a sunny private pool, and separate carriage house with its own bedroom, full bath, living area, and kitchenette. Perfect for large or multiple families, or folks that just want a lot of space and the ability to spread out.
In the main house you'll find a large living area with a 50'' plasma HDTV (ADT security system,) a dining area with 8-place dining table and plenty of extra seating for everyone. There's a full bath and queen bedroom on the main floor. Upstairs is a very large master bedroom suite with a large HDTV and even a desk with an Internet-connected PC provided. Also upstairs is a spacious bunk room that sleeps up to 8 kids, has its own full bath, and a wall mounted TV.
The carriage or 'Cabana' house has a large separate bedroom with a queen bed, a full bath, nice walk-in closet, and a separate living area with a kitchenette (fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker), table & chairs, HDTV, and a comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa.
We have worked hard to make this house like new again, and best in its class, with all new furnishings summer of 2012, new very high quality mattresses, new HDTV's, etc. Fully stocked kitchen...even wake up in the morning to your favorite coffee from our Keurig Gourmet K-Cup Brewer.
Crystal Beach is truly location, location, location! Destin Commons is just across the street. Destin Harbor and the new boardwalk only a couple miles west. Silver Sands outlet shops only a few miles east. A short 3-block walk gets you to frozen yogurt or Marble Slab Creamery. Water parks, go carts, dune buggies, arcades, golf, bungee jumping, jet-ski rentals, and much more are all around you. There is SO MUCH to do all around Crystal Beach...you will wonder where the week went.

This house was perfect for a large family...we had 9 adults and 5 kids. I am currently stationed here but all of my family came to visit from Texas. There was plenty of seating and sleeping room. We also had the pool heated for the a few days and the kids absolutely loved it along with the short walk to the beach. We were blessed to have great weather and be able to make some day trips to the beach. The location was amazing as well, close to shopping and plenty of restaurants although we cooked all of our meals. Would definitely recommend this house to any family.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, pet owners, families with young children.

Really loved this property, We have been taking our family to Destin the last 8 years, perhaps the best property we've ever stayed. Large & accommodating Bedrooms. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom area. The owners have really worked hard to keep the property and it's furniture updated.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

Thanks to Jeff and Terri for sharing your great house with us for the week. The location, decor, size and pool were all excellent. It was all above and beyond our expectations. We enjoyed a wonderful week and could not have asked for owners who were more accommodating. This is a roomy beach house in a beautiful neighborhood. The pool area out back is great and the walk to the beach is a breeze. The owners have supplied umbrellas, chairs and a beach cart that make the beach experience wonderful as well. We had 13 family members and several rainy days stuck inside and we didn't get crowded at all. The only problem with this house is that we only got to stay a week! Thanks for lending us your second home!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The house was beautifully decorated and was perfect for our family. It was an easy walk to the beach, and loved that it had a pool. The location is convenient to shopping, restaurants, and things to do. My family and I had an awesome week. This was our first beach trip with another family, and this house was an ideal choice for us! We had 4 kids 3 and under, and 4 adults. The house was tastefully furnished, and had everything that we needed. The kids room was adorable with the bunk beds and their own bathroom! The beds were very comfy in all of the rooms. It was so convenient to have a pool right in the back yard, and the walk to the beach was an easy one. The property owners were great to work with, and made sure we had everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We will definitely be planning a trip back to Sirenia very soon!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had an opportunity to spend an entire week at Sirenia and it was perfect! Our party had 2 couples, 2 toddlers, and 2 infants and we had more than enough room for us all. The toddlers loved the bunkroom and spending time in the pool. The adults loved that we could be out by the pool while the kids had plenty of room to play in the backyard and swim. We all loved that it was only a few minute walk from the beach. The home was equipped with everything we needed to cook-in a few times and was tastefully decorated with new furnishing. Thank you so much Jeff and Terri.
