The Jenkins Creek Cottage provides total quiet from the noise and aggravations of hotels and motels! Located on St. Helena's Island, it is just 10 minutes from downtown Beaufort, SC. Walk the grounds or drink your coffee or wine on the end of the covered dock on the property. Sunrise to sunset, this breezy tidal creek is a nature lovers delight. On-site chicken coop provides those old fashioned organic eggs of which your Grandparents talked!
Jenkins Creek Cottage is leased by the week, weekend or month. It is not simply a vacation home as it is a true hideaway from the hub-bub of life. It is ideal for those who are interested in looking over the Beaufort area or who are building a home and want oversight. It is fully furnished and although we love animals, we ask for no pets, (because we have chickens, ducks and guineas!). It is not outfitted for small children either.
There is an 8 foot deep pond right next to the house so your scenic view from the screened porch is lovely. Warning: we are 1 mile down a dirt road which we maintain in good condition (weather permitting!). We have an outdoor barbeque/oyster pit too!
