  Roof top apt. with excellent views of Rome. Reasonablly spacious and very clean. The location was perfect for sightseeing in all directions, and there were ample curbside restaurants within 1 to 2 blocks. Other than the small caffe maker (with no instructions), the apartment was well equipped. Although the elevator was small (very common in Italy) it was also quick. My tips: Bring a enlarged, easy to read map of Rome. You can not see enough of Rome, and most of what you will see is within a 1 to 2 mile radius. Bring comfortable shoes. There is so much to see, you really don't need a taxi. The numerous points of interest, architecture, shops and street scape can only be appreciated by walking to your destinations. Be sure to get cell phone coverage for Italy in case you need help or get seperated. When you arrive in Rome, make sure you have the accurate address of the apartment for the taxi driver. The Apt. Manager was friendly, professional and very helpful with useful information and tips. We strongly recommend Navona Penthouse.

  The Navona Penthouse is exactly how it appears in the listing. The charming property is clean and well maintained, and Catia was great at communications, with a smile. We loved the location. The terrace and upper room are just wonderful. The bedrooms are good to sleep, the mattresses are good. The kitchenette under the stairs is very well done but not really useable for more than simple cooking - breakfast and snacks. The bathrooms are small but serviceable. Overall, upstairs is the place to be. The central location by Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori is great. We walked to all places from there ans it was always a pleasure to return. WiFi was great, there was no washer/dryer.

  I stayed at Navona Penthouse for three nights in September. It is a beautiful, relaxing space. Right in the center of things, but quiet and secluded. The roof terrace is awesome. Catia was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I will be back!

  I cannot say enough good things about this apartment. We absolutely loved it. For starters, the location is extraordinary. It is literally steps from multiple restaurants and cafes. The Piazza Navonna is its backyard. The setting is spectacular an cloister and courtyard. Finally, the terrace with stunning views of Rome. Amazing. Cattia was wonderful to deal with. She was available and responsive. The apartment was clean, the linens were great and the bathrooms were wonderful. The only caveat, which was not a problem for us, was the kitchen. It was in the cupboards. It worked for breakfast and snacks, but probably not where you want to cook a full meal. But then again, why cook in Rome? Great food was everywhere. Fantastic place. I highly recommend it.

  This Roma penthouse apartment is truly special and borders on magical. The location is perfect, just a short walk from all the major destinations and is nicely appointed with all the needed conveniences. The manager is a gem who could not have been more delightful, helpful or informative. Living in the Chiostro, attending frequent live happenings in the courtyard and access to the Cafe effortlessly round out the experience and give a sense of belonging to the community. The elevator makes the penthouse a welcome refuge after long days walking, and after 11pm the neighborhood is blissfully quiet. As if all that wasn't enough, the real magic awaits on the roof! The glorious views can not be adequately conveyed, nor the feeling you get as you take it all in. It is a piece of heaven which is mesmerizing and magnetic at all times of day and night. It is hard to imagine a more perfect place to call home during a stay in Rome. The only difficulty you will have is in convincing yourselves it is time to leave when your stay has ended!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  I have rented several apartments in Rome but few have exceeded their descriptions and none have as this apartment did. First, it really is in the Bramante chiostro; one enters through the cloister itself, though away from the main entrance (The charm of the ancient building is helped by having an elevator I admit). Thephotos are accurate, though don't adequately capture the view, and the location description is spot on. It was cleaned, with good service and the manager could not have been more responsive or helpful and speaks perfect English. Mather neighborhood is great, with dozens of restaurants within a few steps, but is remarkably quiet at night. The apartment itself is comfortably decorated with two great bathrooms and is very quiet (I have stayed in many "quiet apartments" with a noisy courtyard or traffic all night; not here!). But the real joy comes in the view. From the living room you are sitting on top of Rome, with an architectural student's dream view of every cupola and dome in Rome: s Ivo, St. Peter's, and everything in between. Sitting on the terrace at night having wine all together after an adventurous day seeing the same sights from the ground was a fantastic experience and one that exceeded every expectation. It just can't be adequately described. And all of this when you are in a building with it's own Raphael. This was a great experience and I have recommended it to friends planning to travel to Rome.
