Excellant small cottage for 2 people. Clean, great location and hiking trails close by. The only negative is the parking space. The parking space is extremely narrow and tight to get into. Would definetely stay again !! :)

We found this cabin extremely romantic, and cozy. The attention to detail was amazing, and every little thing was thought out. It was extremely clean, quite, and everything the post said it was. We will be returning soon and would recommend it for any couple looking for a get away.

This cottage is perfect for a couple! Cozy and romantic! Everything was so perfect. The owner was super nice and she had great style in decorating it. It was also very clean and well-maintained. I would absolutely recommend it! Can't wait to go back again!

My Husband and I stayed here over Xmas for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The photos are accurate and so is the location. The property was clean and homely and the owner even left us a xmas card on our arrival! The owner was easy to comunicate with and we even changed our dates and length of stay, which was no problem for her, she was always very polite and helpful in emails. We had a car, so used that to drive to the ski resorts and restaurants. Fallen Leaf Lake is close by as are all the shops and restaurants in south Lake Tahoe. I would recommend this place for a cute couple's get a way.

This is the cutest place for a retreat and a perfect location. Right down the street is a trail where you can take a morning walk and see the lake! There is the Y shopping center (Raley's, SouthLakeSnow, Starbucks, etc.) 5 mins away (by car) and Pope Beach is up the road. The cabin was very clean and well organized. The owners were extremely fast and helpful with a reply to any questions I had. Everything was just perfect. We did day hikes to Emerald Bay and up to Eagle Lake, which were both short drives up the 89. Thanks again for everything!

We spent just a weekend at this cute location. It was so nice to have a mini home away from home. The location was in close proximity to waking trails, hiking, and the beach. The cottage was welcoming.

My wife and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary. The cabin is within an easy drive of pretty much everything in SLT. The owner was very pleasant and easy to deal with. There were plenty of towels, linens, dishes, etc so you pretty much have everything you need there. Oh, the liquor cabinet above the sink is also well stocked which was a nice bonus. Overall, we would easily recommend this to our friends and stay there again ourselves! Thanks!

We love this place. We feel so cozy and comfortable here. It's our second time. We are building such good memories here, such as having a leisurely late breakfast on the front porch with nothing more to hear than the gentle soughing of the wind in the pines. I think we're addicted. It's so conveniently located near our favorite spots on south shore: Emerald Bay, Taylor Creek, Pope Beach, Taylor Creek, and Fallen Leaf Lake. And close to the 'Y' if you need to do a little shopping for groceries. We're also happy with the added value of wi-fi. There's even a small library of DVDs.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved it. We loved the beautiful wood floor and appreciated all the little touches of elegance. We hated leaving. We think it was a great value, very clean and comfortable. And quiet! The owner(s) have thought of every little detail. I feel compelled to mention one negative: the TV is small-- 13" I'd say-- and rather too far from the bed to watch while in bed. Fortunately, we'd brought a laptop and watched a movie on that. We definitely hope to come back, perhaps with a whole group of friends. Then we'll rent both of the cabins, not just the little one.
Owner response:We installed a new Sharp LC-26DV24U 26-inch LCD TV/DVD Combo for the smaller cabin and a new 42-inch 1080p LCD HDTV for the bigger one.

We had a lovely time on our honeymoon here! The cottage is stylish but cozy, with a beautiful painted mural and a well-outfitted kitchen. There is great privacy from neighbors but also easy access to many of the South and West Shore's amenities, as well as Fallen Leaf Lake and the Desolation Wilderness. We were truly surprised and grateful for such a nice "home" to return to each day. We'd definitely recommend this place to friends and hope to stay there again one day!

This cabin was simply one of the finest places we have ever stayed in Lake Tahoe It is off the beaten path, yet accessible to everything. We were in Tahoe during the big fires and the owner was truly interested in our welfare. A great place for a couple to get away from it all yet still be close to all of the fun Tahoe has to offer.
