This is a wonderfully spacious five bedroom summer cottage right on Lake Michigan in a historic gated cottage community called Macatawa. Cottage is over 100 years old with expansive screened porch filled with wicker, and private back deck with gas grill and eating area. A magnificent Lake Michigan beach is right outside your front porch -no steps or dunes to climb. Wireless internet access and guest privileges at private tennis courts are included in rental. Yacht Club privileges and boat slip available for extra fee.
Very kid friendly - all cottages are in gated area with security guard access so children wander freely making friends in a safe environment. Only foot traffic allowed in cottage area, cars are parked in designated spaces within short walk. Cottage is used by owners and is fully equipped and very upscale in furnishings and amenities. Cottage area and beach is governed by Association rules.
Vacationing in Macatawa is like stepping back in time - truly magical. Downtown Holland and Saugatuck/Douglas with great shopping and restaurants are only minutes away.
