Weekly (iTravex) Rates

The weekly rates fields are supplied to iTravex.com for VRBO members who use iTravex (the Internet Travel Exchange) - HOWEVER, future plans are to display this information at VRBO as well since it provides a simple method for renters to compare rental rates - therefore, it is important that these fields be maintained with accurate information.

In order for iTravex to calculate the recommended point value for your property, iTravex needs to know your LOWEST and HIGHEST weekly rates in US Dollars.  In order to modify the iTravex weekly rates for your property, just edit your VRBO listing and click the "Rates" tab.  Click here for more information about iTravex

The idea is that the rates should accurately reflect the rates you actually charge to renters and should match the rates displayed in the rest of your VRBO ad - If your rates are not accurate, then the recommended point value on iTravex will either be too low (meaning you will earn less points when you Host another iTravex member, or your points will be too high and your property may be overlooked by others and you lose opportunities to earn points).

Since it is important that your Weekly Rates be as accurate as possible, VRBO Support reserves the right to edit your iTravex weekly rates to make them match the rest of the rates displayed on your VRBO ad and may do so without notice (however we are not obligated to do so).

Remember - iTravex weekly rates must be quoted in US Dollars.  Please use the Currency Converter link on your Rates page to convert your rates to US Dollars - Note: Currency rates change constantly.  Please review your posted weekly rates periodically - especially if you are aware that conversion rates have recently changed.

Instructions for entering Weekly Rates:

Weekly: If your property has weekly rates, just enter the rate for the lowest week of the year and the highest week of the year.

Nightly: If your property only has nightly rates, just multiply your lowest and highest nightly rate times 7 to come up with a lowest and highest weekly rate.

Monthly: If you property has only monthly rates, please multiply your lowest and highest monthly rate by .233 (7/30 of a month) to come up with approximate lowest and highest weekly rates.

NOTE: Some properties quote a weekly or nightly rate during peak season, and only a monthly rate during off-peak season.  In this case, your highest weekly rate should be based upon your weekly or nightly rate and your lowest weekly rate should be .233 times your lowest monthly rate.
