Recent Taos reviews

"My teenage son, ex-husband, dogs and I spent two weeks at Dos Caminos and its neighboring property, the Casita, over the recent Christmas/New Year's holidays, and it was the perfect spot for all of us. Teenage son was happy with the wifi access, satellite channels, proximity to the ski area, and big comfy chair into which he sank every evening after skiing. Ex-husband was happy with the fact that he had his "own" place separate from his ex-wife, but close enough to enjoy family times. (Ex-wife was equally happy with this). Both exes agreed that the views, the quiet location, the kiva fireplaces, the variety of birds at the birdfeeder that provided quiet entertainment, and the warmth and coziness of both the "main" house and the slightly-smaller casita made our family holiday nothing short of idyllic. The dogs agreed that this is their favorite vacation spot in the whole world. Plenty of outside room for running and plenty of warm places for sunning made them happy doggies, indeed. We will be back, again and again, to experience Dos Caminos and the Casita in all four seasons. We would have stayed forever if we could have!"

  • Comfortable, Convenient and Well Equipped Casita.

"This value for money accommodation is ideal for one or two people spending a week in Taos. Spacious, private and located within walking distance of the Plaza, shopping, restaurants and bars. For those who ski, it is also within walking distance to two Chile Line Shuttle stops which take you to and from the mountain for $1 each way.(tip: bus capacity is limited so be prepared to take the earliest bus to and from TSV or you might be out of luck). The Casita is fully equipped and exactly as pictured on the web. You can be assured there will be no surprises upon arrival. I would not hesitate to stay here again and hope to do so next year."

  • Beautiful home

"Our stay was amazing! The home has everything needed for cooking and grilling. Spent the day hours at the mountain, we would come home cook and jump in the hot tub. We are already planning our next trip back there."

  • Accommodating home

"My large family enjoyed staying here during Thanksgiving Holiday, the set up was nice, we loved having the extra bathrooms and king sized beds. Unfortunately I didn't get to use the hot tub due to our toddler getting very ill, but it was nice to have a private yard area. Loved the very large dining table for cards and games."
