01/30/2012 - My family of 9, including three generations of grandparents, kids and grandkids, stayed at the Sunshine Villa and were delighted by the spaciousness of the one-story house, the great layout of all the rooms, the incredibly comfortable beds, and the good-sized pool. The proximity to Disney, Universal and Celebration was great. And the days that we didn’t go the attractions, we were so grateful for all of the amenities of the house. We enjoyed swimming in the heated pool, playing at the nearby tennis courts and playgrounds, working out in the yard, watching movies on the large flat screen TV, having large meals in the dining room, playing foosball and pool, and playing our own games! It really provided the perfect setting for our family reunion and we highly recommend it for others!

01/23/2012 - AMAZING!!!! The most peaceful home my family has ever stayed at. Cuddle by the magnificent fireplace while overlooking the ocean. Immaculate home with impeccable taste in design! Everything you could ask for and more comes with this home. Flat screen T.V.’s, large dining room table, plenty of seating in living room and comfortable beds. To top it all off this home is right on the beach with a direct view of the ocean from almost every window! I can’t say enough about this home. You can clearly tell the owners care tremendously about their beloved beach home!

Beautiful Lake Travis Waterfront Home!

01/20/2012 - Our stay at this lake house was amazing. The listing is accurate: it has everything a group or family would need to getaway and just chill out. There are so many features about this house that make it so special. Here are a few of our favorites:
• The fully equipped kitchen has everything to cook a great meal, plus a grill outside, and lots of seating options for both adults and children.
• On the fabulous deck, we read books and napped in the hammock and enjoyed snacks, drinks and great conversation at the deck tables.
• Kids loved it! They all shared the room of four bunk beds; played foosball, ping pong; watched movies; and oh yeah, wore themselves out playing in and around the lake water.
• One nice big room offering space, variety and inclusion. Everyone can do their own thing but still see each other and be together.
• Waking up to dramatic panoramic views of the lake and Pace Bend Park.
By the way, the owner was so helpful and responsive. When we had questions, she answered her phone and returned our texts immediately. The check-in and check-out procedures were very clear and reasonable, making settling in and leaving to return home pretty easy.
We’d definitely recommend this property and return again!

New Orleans, French Quarter penthouse!

12/23/2011 - The Penthouse in the heart of the French Quarter was a perfect stay for my first time in beautiful historic NOLA! The location and convenience of this place made the traveling experience so easy and gave me more time to explore the city. Jodi provided excellent recommendations on places to eat local cuisine, like seafood gumbo, crawfish, beignets, and oyster po’boys! After eating a delicious meal, I was more than thrilled that I was able to walk back to the penthouse nearby and crash on the fluffy couch or bouncy beds for a rested slumber. Overall, a great experience!

Great Stay - modern apartment in Lisbon!

12/08/2011 - This apartment was a wonderful place to stay. With its central location I was right in the heart of Lisbon. Everything you could need is all within walking distance, and if you don’t feel like walking, there are plenty of forms of transportation right at your doorstep. The apartment has all the amenities you could need on a trip, way better than staying at a hotel. Paulo was great. He waited for me patiently to arrive. and gave me details about the apartment, its features and even left a contact number if any question or issues arose. With the city so beautiful and so much to see, it was nice to come back to such a comfortable place to relax and sleep at the end of the day. It was hard to leave! I wish I could stayed longer.

South Carolina Oceanfront Vacation Home!

12/06/2011 - My South Carolina vacation was wonderful at this beachfront house. The location was perfect. It was great walking the beach, and fishing. My friends and I caught Spot and Red Drum while fishing between the bay and ocean – all just a short walk from the house. When surf fishing and crabbing didn’t fill our days and our nets, we kayaked the marshes. Wildlife was all around. Dolphin watching was a sport each day directly in front of the house. The pool was not the only thing private; it was a rare day to find another soul on the beach.

I loved the low country with its local flare and quaint shops in Beaufort and Front Royal. One of the seafood restaurants was a favorite. The dockside dining was great. What could be better for a bear’s lunch than fresh shrimp right off the boats?

Another great spot was Hunting Island State Park, only a 5 minute drive away. It offers lush surroundings with a nature walk and the Atlantic beach for shelling. A lighthouse completes this picturesque island and offers spectacular views from atop!

Back at the beach house at the end of the day, the supper comfy beds helped us relax to enjoy each new day’s beautiful view.

Nice Las Vegas Vacation Rental with pool

11/30/2011 - A renunion trip afforded myself and several of my friends the opportunity to stay in this spacious Las Vegas vacation home. To say it’s large and accommodating would be an understatement. We did not have a party large enough to fill all of the rooms, but even if we had there would still be more than enough room to relax and enjoy being together as well as privacy. The large living room felt even bigger with the high ceilings. The kitchen with a separate island allowed everyone to move freely while making sandwiches, cooking food and the like. The master bedroom continued the spacious theme. All of the other rooms were well furnished and comfortable. Outdoors we took the opportunity to enjoy the patio and pool – refreshing!

The house is only 5 minutes away from a shopping center that includes restaurants, a CVS, grocery store and more. There is easy access to the highway and the strip is only 4 turns away from house to highway to the Strip.

I highly recommend this home to Las Vegas travelers who want spacious accommodations, yet still close to all the activity.

Great Maui Oceanfront Vacation Rental

11/30/2011 - After a gorgeous drive up Hana Highway, I was amazed by the beauty and the location of the Hamoa Beach House. The driveway is fenced by lava rock and the lush gardens welcomed us to this stunning oceanfront home. Upon entering the house, we were welcomed by an ocean view, floor to ceiling windows and authentic Hawaiian koa wood paneling. They do call it Heavenly Hana for a reason.

Our group of 6 (4 adults and 2 children) had our choice of large, private bedrooms and were quickly drawn to the great living and dining area where we were able to eat our meals (inside or out!) and enjoy the ocean during every moment.

I am bearish about cleanliness and I was particularly impressed with the immaculate upkeep of this large home. Being directly next to the beach, one would expect a few grains of sand on the glossy wood floors. There was no sand to be found.

If you’re not aware that Hamoa Beach is the most beautiful beach in the world, you should be. The beach is secluded; it’s a perfect expanse of soft sand and incredible Blue Hawaiian waves. This beach is just a 3 minute walk from the house. We didn’t even need to cross the road!

Throughout our stay, we enjoyed the great kitchen, hammock, hot tub and super comfortable beds. Take that Goldilocks! We had plenty of room, were close to Hana and hiked in the gorgeous Haleakala National Park. We just can’t ‘bear’ to leave. I’ll take wonderful memories with me into hibernation this winter.

Beach Front Akumal Mexico VacationVilla!

11/09/2011 - There I was, bear on the beach, a click or three south of Playa Akumal. My five friends oohed and aahhed at their first sight of the white Yucatan sand and blue-green yet crystal-clear sea. I took a dozen steps from the villa’s front porch and was in it. After swimming with the fishes and coral, I rinsed at the outdoor shower, shook my furry hide, stretched out in a palm tree-supported hammock, and sipped a cold Bohemia.

The light is different in this tropic latitude, and so is your attitude. I felt as though I could hear sounds and see colors more clearly. With a cool breeze flowing through the nicely appointed kitchen, the bear observed a daily rite: preparing guacamole and margaritas from fresh local ingredients. As I served bebidas, guacamole, y totopos de maiz to my mates, I realized that our stretch of beach was quiet – almost private. The resort a couple hundred meters north was inaudible. Jet skis and the occasional power boat gamboled near the east horizon, beyond hearing. My fuzzy ears detected only palm fronds and shore break. Gorgeous dawn skies over the gem-like sea invite one to snorkel. Turtle nests, monitored and protected dot the beaches. Crabs of all sizes leave meandering tracks during the night.

The house features a lavish garden/courtyard on the way in from the street, a large living room and kitchen/dining area, and three air-conditioned suites: a downstairs master, plus two upstairs each with a balcony. We frequently chose to sleep al fresco. Plenty of ruins and lagunas, cenotes, cafes, and shopping, but the bear hugged home. Our villa and beach were it.

It would be tough to top. This bear’s been on quite a few spectacular and relaxing vacations, but his seven-day sojourn at Villa Italiano beats all.

Great Stay- upscale Vancouver Condo!

11/01/2011 - This downtown modern condo was the perfect home for my trip to Vancouver, British Columbia. With wonderful amenities like a washer/dryer, full kitchen, adjustable mood lighting and access to the hotel’s fitness center, this condo was my top choice. There was even a drawer full of maps and guidebooks to help me get started on all the fun things to explore during my stay. The décor is updated and I immediately felt at home in this one bedroom condo. I really enjoyed ending my day with a drink on the balcony overlooking the city and water. It really was the perfect way to end my days. The super comfortable king size bed was a great place to sprawl out for a good night’s rest to recover from all the day’s activities.

This rental is truly in the center of downtown and the best starting point for exploring all of Vancouver. I had easy access to public transportation for a meal in Chinatown, a bike ride in Stanley Park and exploring the public market on Granville Island. Not to mention Vancouver is a coffee lover’s paradise and the condo was in proximity to every type of coffee shop you could ever dream of!

Nice Las Vegas Vacation Rental!

10/27/2011 - The Desert Rose vacation home is just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. The moment you step in the front door using the convenient keyless entry, you’re welcomed by a clean, open environment and high vaulted ceilings.

Each room is beautifully decorated, including the upstairs hallways which have photos that depict the history of Las Vegas. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the essentials and the living room is filled with video games, board games, and DVDs for plenty of relaxing entertainment if Las Vegas itself isn’t entertaining enough.

The backyard is absolutely perfect for a BBQ with plenty of seating, green grass, a wood burning fire pit, and a large grill. Don’t forget to take a dip in the therapeutic hot tub as well!

Downtown Denver w/City & Mountain Views!

10/13/2011 - I really enjoyed my stay on the 12th floor of the Brooks Tower. The unit was very clean with newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom. The owners have thought ahead and provided plenty of towels and extra bedding for a 3rd guest on the pull out couch. The condo includes direct TV and Free Parking in a secured garage, which is hard to come by. The Tower also has 24 hour front desk, secured key pass entry to the building. There is a pool for your enjoyment as well as a billiards room.

Located in the heart of downtown Denver, the condo has a great view of the city, including the Downtown Aquarium and Elitch Gardens Theme Park. You are one block from the Performing Arts Center in one direction and in the other direction you are one block from 16th Street Mall with all of the restaurants, shops and clubs right within walking distance. There is even a free bus that runs up and down 16th Street Mall to take you to the shops that you may feel a bit far to walk to. I walked to Coors Field to watch the Rockies play ball and then just a short drive away is Sports Authority Field at Mile High which of course is the home to the Denver Broncos.

Great Stay Bainbridge Is Vacation Home

10/04/2011 - An island retreat was just the ticket for this Bear, who found Alex’s Beach House to be a true gem located on Bainbridge Island near Seattle, WA.

As I came in through the private fenced-in yard and saw all of the lights twinkling in the trees, I knew this was going to be a special trip. From the warm hardwood floors throughout the home to the soft and fluffy towels, special touches were everywhere. The owners have decorated their home to provide a peaceful sanctuary, and this bear loved it. The art that hangs on all of the walls was done by the owner and gives inspiration at every turn.

The spacious home office proved to be a great spot to map out my days and the front porch was a perfect spot for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Each of the bedrooms were quite roomy and the bathrooms were beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the appliances and accessories one could need. Gorgeous granite countertops were artwork in themselves!

I fell in love with Alex’s and really didn’t want to leave. This home is a truly unique, fun place to spend your Washington vacation.

Ocean Grove NJ Beach House Ocean View

09/23/2011 - The Bear decided to go a little off the beaten path and leave his humble abode in the Rocky Mountains to venture to Ocean Grove, NJ and see the ocean. So what if Mother Nature threw Hurricane Irene at the NJ shore a week before his trip? The Bear was undaunted and is happy to report: Irene may have caused problems, but the New Jersey shore is essentially untouched and open for business!

The Chelsea makes an excellent rental for families with small kids and pets. The house is huge, boasting 9 bedrooms, a big front porch, a giant dining table sufficiently large to feed the entire crew, and a kitchen big enough to cook for that kind of crowd. After dinner, I was able to retire to the huge master bedroom with French doors opening onto a large balcony, letting in the sea breeze and the sound of waves crashing on the beach. What a way to relax!

Did I mention that the beach is only a block away? Walk to the end of the block and you’re right on the boardwalk, with the sandy beach and the Atlantic Ocean laid out before you. Bring your blankets and umbrella, if your cubs are like the ones in my group, it’ll be hours before you can tear them away. They’ll be splashing in the waves, digging sandcastles, and collecting seashells for hours. Or bring your surfboard. I enjoyed watching the surfers take on the waves.

Ocean Grove itself is a lovely little town. There are a huge number of shops and restaurants just a few blocks from the Chelsea and no end of things to do within walking distance – you can go to local parks and playgrounds, shop on Main Street, visit the historic Great Auditorium and the surrounding vacation tents, enjoy a ride on the paddle boats at Wesley Lake, or venture up to Asbury Park for all the attractions on the boardwalk, even try to spot The Boss at The Stone Pony. I did have one rainy day, but not to worry – The Chelsea’s owners provided loads of games and amusements right in the house. The cubs especially loved the craft closet and having tea parties in the Duck Room. When we finally felt the need to get out of the house, Jenkinson’s Aquarium in nearby Point Pleasant provided a great rainy day excursion.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Ocean Grove and the Chelsea. You will too! It’s never too early to plan your next vacation, so go book now!

San Antonio Vacation Rental with a pool!

09/16/2011 - I had a fantastic time in this spacious 4 bedroom estate in San Antonio, TX. The house was full of personality and provided me and my friends with the perfect getaway. We spent hours lounging in the 40x20ft pool, playing cards in the tiki bar, and cooking dinner in the well equipped kitchen.

The house is a 1960’s estate located in the well established, beautiful neighborhood of Alamo Heights and is about 5 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes to the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio. It offers 4 bedrooms/ 3.5 bathrooms, and could comfortably sleep 10-12 people, which makes it perfect for a family getaway, golf getaway (near Quarry Golf Course), or larger group.

It really is a dream home for any group with 2 dining rooms (formal and casual), a media room with a big screen projector, pool complete with a diving board and floaties, tiki bar with grill. Plus it had a steam room and Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom, 2 iMac computers, and so much more!

I highly recommend this vacation rental as perfect for groups or family visiting San Antonio, TX.

09/12/2011 - This little Bear really enjoyed his trip to Barnstable and the Cape. This beautiful house is an easy drive from all of the major cities in New England, and an easy drive to the Cape Cod National Seashore and Martha’s Vineyard/Nantucket ferries. The house has a friendly feel that makes it so you cannot help but relax. It also has wonderful natural light throughout. Perfect for a family or couples, it has all the necessary amenities to make you feel at home. I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful landscape, numerous trails within walking distance and a number of wonderful restaurants nearby.

Ideal La Jolla Vacation Home!

09/09/2011 - This little bear loves the chance to visit the ocean and La Jolla is one of the best places to experience it and proved to be everything I expected and more. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the house. Each bedroom was roomy and comfortably, with no exception to the large master bedroom which included a walk in closet, and large master bathroom. The added bonus was the many balconies off the house, including the roof top balcony with views of La Jolla and the ocean.

The kitchen was fully equipped with what was needed to cook meals. The bamboo floors, leather couches, sheer drapes, and wall décor gave the house a very homey feel. The many TV’s in each of the rooms were nice after our days of playing in the sun and the house is equipped with a washer and dryer making it convenient to wash clothes and pack light. Not only is the house fully equipped (including a pack n play) but they have every beach item you will need. So leave your gear at home because you will have a wagon, a stroller, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and so much more! This house couldn’t have been more perfect for a family.

Parking in La Jolla is not always the easiest, but with its own garage you can come and go as you please. The best part of the house is being in the midst of everything. It is walking distance to shops, many restaurants, kayaking excursions and the beach. You can have a days worth of fun and never have to get in the car. Every night you can relax and enjoy sitting on the front porch and watch the people walk by. La Jolla has proven to be full of very nice people. There is so much to do in San Diego like Sea World, The Zoo and the Safari Park just to name a few. Being so centrally close to everything you don’t feel like you are stuck in the car while on vacation.

I hope to come back to La Jolla soon! I had the best time, and I know you will too.

Great Austin Vacation Rental HillCountry

09/09/2011 - I really enjoyed my stay at the Lake House Dunlap. The property is in a great location, close to attractions like Schlitterbahn, convenience store and Walgreens about two minutes away, and a grocery store only five minutes away. Even Sea World was close enough for a quick day trip. Yet it is really private in a very quiet neighborhood right on the lake which feels miles away from congestion. The property has a unique setup in that it really is a group of smaller units on one lot. This is pretty ideal for getting several families or a larger group together, but could be a little problematic if you needed everyone to be under one roof. It worked perfectly for my group as we stayed in the main house and apartment that is attached to the main house and found the setup to be great for two families with a total of five children.

It has a very spacious back yard, several deck areas and of course steps right to the boat dock and lake. It is ideal for boating and fishing right from the docks, or just hanging out in one of several potential spots with a great view up and down the lake. There is a big slide and diving board as well. The swimming area is at the bottom of the hill and out of sight from the main house, so you need to make sure you keep an eye on kids.

I’d definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting New Braunfels, or for a great lake location in general and easy access to Schlitterbahn!

Great Manhattan New York City Apartment!

08/30/2011 - I had a great time on my trip to see the bright lights in the big city. I stayed at this wonderful Upper West Side brownstone, located between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue. The apartment had everything a bear needs to feel at home (it was even equipped with a Pack and Play for cubs). The apartment is located within a beautiful walk or short cab ride from may of the great places that New York City has to offer. It is just steps from Central Park, but is also only a short distance from Museum Mile, world-class shopping, and Times Square. It is also very near to many of the great food spots of the big city, but offers a nice kitchen and dining room if you would rather cook or order in.

08/24/2011 - I really enjoyed my stay in this fantastic beach house. With a tandem kayak, several bikes, beach toys and chairs, coolers, beach towels and more, the owners have supplied almost everything for an enjoyable beach vacation for any age. Pack light if you are staying here!

Here are the other reasons why I loved this vacation home:
Lots of books and games for family “good ole’ time fun. No toys necessary! With 2 patios and the kitchen table, my group loved the variety of eating locations.

Just 1 block from the bay and 2 blocks from the ocean, we could easily carry beach toys, snacks and chairs to the beach. It’s also an easy drive downtown. And just 1 block from the main drag, you can grab a quick bite for any meal, morning coffee, late night drink or just run to the corner store for a last minute item. Just 5 minutes from Sea World and 15 minutes from the San Diego Zoo means no hassle and even bringing a small child back for a nap.

Vacation near beach Carlsbad San Diego

08/22/2011 - This townhome is very convenient for beach lovers. You can see the ocean from the front door and upstairs deck. The beach is literally just a few steps away. Very easy to carry your beach gear!

Downtown is just a short walk, where you can find restaurants. Walk along the boardwalk or on the sand. Both are great options! It’s also very convenient 5 minute drive to Legoland.

This townhome has a lot of space. There’s a generous living room and dining area. The 2 bedrooms upstairs are pretty big. The master has its own deck and view of the ocean. The second bedroom has 2 double beds; great for families or small groups.

Beautiful Pagosa Springs CO Vacation!

08/16/2011 - I had a wonderful time in this vacation home in Pagosa Springs with friends and family. The house, aptly called the "tree-house," was on two levels and each morning I awoke to breathtaking views of the trees and mountains and could listen to the myriad of birds just outside the windows. The hummingbirds were spectacular to watch as they were coaxed to the porch by two well-positioned feeders.

It was a real treat for me to witness a double rainbow during my stay and enjoyed the refreshing mountain air I grew up on. Here I could completely relax. I especially liked being able to explore in the garden with the cubs and also visit the fishing lake which was only a 2 minute drive from the house.

What a comfortable stay I had with my family in this spacious home. The young ones could watch TV in the playroom while the adults ate dinner around the dining table. Breakfasts were fun for the kids as they sat at the bar counter and were served from a spacious and well stocked kitchen. There were more than enough beds for everyone and even a pack and play for the littlest sibling. The hot tub was an added bonus and was enjoyed by all ages.

One day we took the steam train from Durango to Silverton up the mountain pass and were thrilled to see the river and awesome scenery. The whole family had fun going down the river on tubes near the hot springs only 10 minutes from the house and finished off that day with an ice cream from a restaurant that came recommended by the owner. There were other useful tips about where to go and what to see that helped us make the most of our time in Pagosa Springs.

The owner and his property management company were professional and friendly and made the stay extremely easy, enjoyable and memorable. I’m already longing for the mountains again and the view from the wraparound porch...

Waterfront Vacation in Austin!

08/12/2011 - My friends and I went looking for “Sun and Fun.” That’s exactly what we found here in this amazing Austin lake house. We wanted to cook, eat, relax and spend some time on the water. We were not disappointed. Conveniently located with luxurious appointments, beautiful views and lake access, the house was an amazing place to spend a few days.

We had our digital music playing throughout the house and porch areas. The kitchen was fantastic for making large meals and the open floor plan kitchen/living room is perfect for hanging out as a group. We had a great time. The sleeping arrangements were great, as described, and the house was great fun. In the evening we spent time in the game room, fun for kids and adults!

There is ample parking inside the gate; and the boat launch is just 5 minutes away at City Park. From launch to the house in the boat was only 4 minutes. Our group hung out down at the dock while some of us went out to wake board, surf and wake-ski. If you are really into wakeboarding, head north from the house towards the Dam. The water becomes calmer and get’s cooler as it’s pumping out from the bottom of Lake Travis. Ski Shores Bar and Restaurant is three minutes by boat and Hula Hut is only 15 minutes by boat.

Austin is an amazing city known for its night life, music and great eateries. Many locals know it additionally for its lake and the fact that Austin is a great destination for water sports enthusiasts. Boating Magazine voted Austin into its “Top 10 Best Places to Live and Boat.”

Jackie and her team were there to meet me at check in and even handled a small problem with the AC immediately; they had it fixed in 30 minutes. That’s the top notch service you can expect from these folks. I had no other problems whatsoever. It is important to note that the steps to the dock from the house are steep, they are manageable, but they are to be considered if you are traveling with older folks. Jackie made this very clear beforehand so I knew what to expect.

This home is highly recommended to anyone who desires a lake weekend with their family or friends!!!

Spring Branch TX Vacation on Golf Course

08/12/2011 - I enjoyed a very nice weekend getaway at this spacious hideaway in the Texas Hill Country. The home is big enough for the whole family and even has a crib and highchair for little cubs. It features a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill, as well as a luxurious master bathroom. The property is close to San Antonio (25 min drive) in a small town called Spring Branch, but far enough away from the big city for some great peace and quiet. Hot tub under the stars in Breckenridge!

08/09/2011 - This Bear was spoiled in Breckenridge, Colorado!

The special touches that the owner has added in this home are not to be missed. The bathrooms have been decorated with beautiful sinks, faucets and shower heads. No detail was overlooked. The theater room was so comfortable at the end of the day for a movie and of course the hot tub under the starts was just perfect. The mountain decorations added to the ambiance of the home.

My companions and I had everything we needed in the well appointed kitchen to make our meals. The large refrigerator was so nice to have and a lot of free cabinet space was great for putting our food away. I really felt at home here.

While the winters in Colorado provide great skiing, I just LOVE the summer time in the mountains! There is so much to do here, and the weather is great. From walking and hiking to biking the scenic roads, we were good and tired by the end of the day. Breckenridge is a quaint little town with so many fun activities to offer. The Alpine Slide is very close, including shopping and yummy restaurants all close by.

My companions and I enjoyed this exceptional home so much; we did not want to leave! Coming back here for vacation is simply a must.

Great views from Crested Butte CO condo!

08/05/2011 - Greetings from beautiful Crested Butte, Colorado! I enjoyed a lovely stay at the impressive Ravenwood Inn, a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath townhouse nestled just minutes away from the heart of charming historic downtown Crested Butte. Otherwise known as the capital wildflower of Colorado, a visit in the summer to this captivating part of the country was nothing short of amazing; this bear has never seen so many wildflowers! If you’re looking for adventure, this town has it all: hiking, biking, horseback riding, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, children’s activities, pottery painting, rafting, kayaking, golf, unique shops, impressive galleries, wildlife and incredible beauty, to name just a few. A Bear couldn’t ask for a more charming location for a getaway!

The owners of Ravenwood House, Tom and Bridget, helped to make my visit absolutely delightful. They were so helpful prior to my stay and during my vacation. Upon my arrival, I found the house to be perfectly cleaned and fully stocked with everything I needed to feel “beary” at home. Everything was provided for cooking some of my meals in the gourmet kitchen. The sleeping arrangements were perfect with the master bedroom on its own level and the two additional bedrooms on the lowest level. This bear felt very spoiled by the master bathroom with my choice between a soak in the large jetted tub or enjoying the therapeutic effect of the steam shower; just imagine this kind of treatment after a long day on the slopes!! Ahhhh… heaven!

Enjoy the beautiful Colorado outdoors

08/02/2011 - I could not have been more impressed by this spacious and cozy Keystone condo. Right away, I noticed the warm colors, the mountain décor, plenty of lighting throughout, the flat screen TV and gas fireplace, the stereo system, and the comfortable living room seating; all visible as we walked through the door. Just around the corner were the fully equipped updated kitchen and 3 spacious bedrooms. Great for multiple families! The cubs will love the bunk bedroom! If you bring your little ones, leave your pack-n-play and highchair at home because the condo supplies both. I enjoyed sitting out on the patio and looking out on the green grass and wildflowers growing. So beautiful! I also spent time in the pool and hot tub, which is just down the path from the house and in the evenings, enjoyed the games supplied at the condo.

Don’t stay inside too long. There is so much to do and see in Keystone and surrounding areas. The skiing is great, and the shuttle will pick you up right out front, so you can enjoy a day of skiing without the hassle of the drive. Plus you will have your own ski locker just outside your door. Not only are you close to skiing, you are close to the Silverthorne Outlet Mall if that is more your style. In warmer seasons, bring your bicycles. There is a great trail surrounding the property or, if you’re looking for something more challenging, there are plenty of trails to explore. Lake Dillon is just down the road where you can rent a boat and tour the lake if you like. There really is something for everyone all year round.

Keystone is a great mountain town. You’ll enjoy coming back here time again and this condo is the perfect home away from home!

Great Vancouver Island Oceanfront Views!

07/25/2011 - What an incredible adventure on Vancouver Island! This fantastic gem of a property is hidden away on the coast of Vancouver Island in the small town of Ladysmith, near Nanaimo. This is one of the most beautiful, peaceful and serene properties you will experience! Words and pictures can only begin to describe the view from this penthouse hideaway. You will find yourself surrounded by ocean views and immersed in lush, green forest. The sunrise over the water provides a view that you may never forget.

It is obvious that the owners love their property and the location. Their passion for the surrounding beauty and the property itself are evident in many ways. The booking process was quick and easy. The owners supplied all the relevant info and gave great tips for things to do and how to get to the island. The property was well stocked with nearly all a traveler could want or need and is excellent condition!

The chef’s kitchen is a phenomenal addition to this property and allows travelers to cook at home while enjoying the views. Even condiments were provided!

The master bedroom is elegant and comfortable. Plus, the large windows open right to the waves crashing on the beach below! This is ocean front living at its finest!

The Inn of the Sea resort offers a pristine swimming pool and hot tub right on the water, along with a BBQ grill and tennis court. The surrounding flowers and gardens add simple beauty to this already amazing location.

Orlando Vacation Home in Gated Community

07/25/2011 - I had a great time staying in this beautiful Orlando home located within 20-45 minutes of all the Orlando attractions. Situated in a warm, inviting community called Ventura Country Club which included resort like amenities. The exquisitely maintained golf course that welcomes you onto the property is a quiet place to unwind while I was on vacation. I made a decision to stop by the enormous pool for a quick dip and peered into a great looking restaurant and bar. I enjoyed the peaceful and extremely relaxing Ventura Country Club community.

My favorite part of the house itself was the screened in patio overlooking the large backyard, where you could enjoy a quiet and shaded meal. The master bedroom and bathroom is massive and immaculately kept. This was one of the most comfortable houses I’ve had the opportunity to stay in during my travels.

If you’re looking for a convenient location near all the attractions along with excellent amenities, I recommend this lovely home in a beautiful country club setting.

Summer Vacation in Winter Park CO!!!

07/18/2011 - Comfortable, beautiful and convenient are just a few of the things I found while enjoying my weekend in this Winter Park townhome. Its interior set the mood for enjoyment as I wandered each room and enjoyed the beauty to be had! The house is warm and inviting and holds a group comfortably. The vaulted ceilings made the house feel more open creating what appeared to be more space, with plenty of windows throughout to enjoy the Colorado beauty. A few of the amenities that made my stay so enjoyable were: the hot tub; the privacy that each floor allowed; the computer at my disposal; the large kitchen with updated appliances, plenty of cooking utensils; and plenty of seating both in the kitchen as well as the dining room.

The convenience of being right off the main street made it easy to move around town. You can practically walk to everything. There is so much to offer in Winter Park, such as shopping, the local pub, the skate park, the playground, numerous restaurants, hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter, 4-wheel drive trails and so much more! You can also be picked up steps from the Townhouse on the free shuttle bus and taken to Winter Park Resort. There is something to do for everyone!

The Poconos Log Cabin with Hot Tub!

07/07/2011 - I felt right at home in this log cabin in the Poconos. The cabin is new construction so it had a nice clean, bright, airy feel. It’s pretty spacious, with plenty of room on the deck, den and main living area. The place is ideal for a large group. The deck in particular was a hit for my group - with a grill for cooking up a nice steak dinner and a hot tub to relax in. The den downstairs was a lot of fun for TV-watching and playing pool. It also doesn’t hurt that there’s a bathroom for every bedroom. So it was easy for the Bear and his friends to get up and going in the morning.

The property is just steps away from a very pleasant rail-to-trail path that follows a scenic river. The path is great for leisurely walks and biking as well. And the river affords some nice river rafting through an outfitter that’s right up the road. The cabin is just on the outskirts of a small town. You’ll find a grocery store nearby that has a surprisingly wide selection of items – most everything you would need for great meals at the cabin. It’s also nice to know that there’s a place nearby to buy essentials that you may have left at home.

Great San Clemente Ocean View Villa!!!

07/05/2011 - I found a wonderful place to getaway in this peaceful upscale neighborhood in San Clemente. Just a ¼ mile from the beach it had a lovely view and beautiful ocean breezes – an excellent place to relax and recharge.

Seagull Landing has it all! From beautifully appointed rooms: cozy living room with large flat screen TV, family room adjoining the dining and kitchen, plus a relaxing sitting room off the kitchen with double doors to let in the fresh ocean breezes.

Upstairs you’ll find a handy laundry room with full size washer and dryer, 2 guest bedrooms with a full bath and a large master bedroom complete with flat screen TV and balcony with an ocean view and another curtained off ‘Juliet’ balcony overlooking the grand entry. The master bath was complete with a large glass block shower, soaking tub, his and her sinks and a wonderful walk-in closet with plenty of drawers, hanger s and hooks. No ‘living out of your suitcase’ here. Unpack and make yourself at home! From upstairs, you’ll find a staircase leading to a large rooftop patio to enjoy the ocean views.

The beach is just a short distance away and the waves were awesome! I saw lots of surfers and boogie boarders enjoying the surf. There’s a path for walking, jogging, biking along the beach and dogs are allowed on leashes during certain times of the day and non holidays. I enjoyed a sunset dinner on the Pier – the steamed clams were fantastic!

Destin condo with Ocean View!!!

06/23/2011 - This Beach Manor condo was exactly what I needed! The view from the balcony was the first thing I noticed upon entering the unit and I spent hours out there sitting, reading and just enjoying the view! Larry, the property owner is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and was able to give World War II history lessons about the area right off his balcony.

The unit itself had gotten a few upgrades and features a huge flat screen TV. The seating on the balcony provided the adult bears in my group the opportunity to sit outside and listen to the waves while still watching the TV through the glass door. The large dining room table allowed us to enjoy great breakfasts and dinners.

The condo provided beach access within a 2 minute walk from the elevator to beach. This came in handy when lunch time rolled around as you could be back down to the beach after making a sandwich in a matter of minutes! The beach at Tops’l is absolutely beautiful and not terribly crowded providing just the right amount of relaxation.

In addition to the beach and the view, this place had great amenities such as putt-putt, a basketball hoop and tennis courts. I recommend this Tops’l Beach Manor for your next family vacation.

Port Aransas TX Vacation Rental

06/21/2011 - This was the perfect holiday weekend getaway to the Texas Gulf! Whether you go to the gulf for the fishing, kite surfing, walks on the beach, fun in the sun or just to get away and relax, this beach condo suits any type of vacation.

The complex is named La Mirage; because it’s everything your mind imagines when you desire an escape from exhaustion and stress. The condo was immaculate and provided all the amenities of a fancy hotel. The unit is one of the best in the whole complex with a huge private balcony and a seriously beautiful view of the ocean – the perfect place to gather with friends or just lounge, read and enjoy the breeze. With 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living room/dining room area, it’s great for families.

I dined in one night and enjoyed a shrimp feast with all the supplied necessities in the kitchen. I also took advantage of the local mom & pop restaurants. The condominium complex provides charcoal grills and a nice covered patio area, great for lunch time barbeques and mingling with the other vacationers. I met some friends from San Antonio who shared their grilled stuffed jalapeño poppers.

If you want to explore the town or need to stock up on supplies before the weekend begins, you’re only 5 minutes from the Port A strip with great seafood restaurants, gift shops, bait & tackle, grocery store, and small town bars. You can fish the piers, the jetty, and the inlet shallows all within 5 minutes. Locals mentioned awesome red fish catching in Rockport just 20 minutes away.

I hope to come back to Port Aransas again soon and stay in the beach condos at La Mirage!

Great Austin Townhome on South Congress

06/17/2011 - I just spent an amazing weekend getaway at this modern, updated townhome, known as “The Orange Door.” It’s located in the friendly Travis Heights neighborhood of Austin, Texas. This ‘pet friendly’ townhome has all the comforts of home – with even better décor and furniture! The kitchen was full of amenities any bear could want (especially a bear who likes coffee) and each bed was as comfy as could be.

The neighborhood is friendly and serene and just a short walk to South Congress (aka SoCo) which is a great place to grab a delicious bite, explore cool and funky shops, get a drink or hear some great live music. Also within walking distance is Stacy Park, where the dog walked me every morning. There is also a spring fed pool in this park – perfect for cooling off from the hot Austin summers.

The Orange Door is the perfect place to stay when traveling to Austin. It is centrally located and has all the amenities of home.

La Jolla Vacation Home w Ocean Views!!!

06/08/2011 - What an amazing home! If you are looking for a true beach vacation, look no further. When I arrived, the first thing I heard was the sound of the ocean waves crashing on the beach. From that moment, I knew it was going to be a great stay.

The house was immaculate, beds were super comfortable, and view was to die for. The cubs will love playing in the private, seaweed free sand that was right outside the door. The master bedroom was a private retreat at the end of the day. One of the most incredible parts of the trip was sitting on the deck, watching dolphins in the ocean right outside the home. I enjoyed watching the dogs and surfers every morning as well.

The home feels very secluded, but really is only a short drive to a great part of La Jolla with good food and shopping. A big book of local restaurant menus was left as well, which was very helpful. The location is a just a short drive to the Zoo and Sea World.

There is plenty of space for everyone and being right on the beach is a huge plus! I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a fabulous beach vacation.

St John Villa with Ocean Views!

06/02/2011 - This little bear just had the experience of a lifetime! If you come to grab a taste of the Caribbean, look no further. From the amazing views to the amazing tranquil atmosphere of this property, Areca Peter Bay takes the cake! A long winding driveway reveals a beautiful private gate welcoming you to your home away from home. All the amenities were exquisitely maintained and the surrounding landscape was crafted with the utmost expertise, including lush tropical plants and fruits ripe for the picking at every glance. A true kaleidoscope of color!

The beautiful infinity pool was a great place to spend time at sunrise or sunset and was often frequented. Truthfully the view was spectacular from anywhere on the property! Most nights were spent on the magnificent patio area, poolside, with the BBQ grill smoking and the gentle bay breezes blowing, creating the most relaxing evenings.

The local town, shopping and white sandy beaches were mere minutes away and the local residents were always welcoming. The cleaning crews that came during the week were cheery and very hospitable. Not to mention the owner, Diana was extremely helpful, available for anything at anytime and was a real treat! She pointed out key places to dive, kayak and snorkel near the area and they did not disappoint. This little bear will be returning again and again and you should do the same!

Southwest CO 2 bedroom near SanJuanMtns

05/27/2011 - This apartment is ideally located right in Ridgway and offers one of the best views of the mountains. Close to everything on the Western Slope, when you stay here, you’ll feel like you’re in the middle of it all.

Thanks to the hosts' attention to detail, this mountain retreat feels like brand new and the extra details like fluffy bath towels and extra blankets made it special. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quite spacious. The kitchen is stocked with spices and everything else you need to prepare a home cooked meal.

The abundance of windows made it perfect for viewing the snow-capped mountains. At night, the stars seemed like giant clusters of lights. Amazing how many more there are when the city lights don’t interfere! The two decks made star gazing a nightly ritual.

I spent a cool afternoon shopping in the quaint stores in nearby Ouray. A late afternoon snow shower gave me a chance to enjoy an early dinner at The Ouray Brewery. With the sun shining and warm winds, some hiking near the waterfall the next day was just the ticket.

This Ridgway suite was ‘just right’ for this Colorado mountain loving Bear. I know you’ll enjoy it too!

Great 3 bedroom Rockport Gulf Coast TX!

05/27/2011 - I arrived at the property to find a beautiful home located directly on the bay. I was more than pleased when I saw the long pier that went far out into the bay. You can walk out on the pier and feel like you’re right out in the middle of the water. Here a bear can fish to his heart’s content.

Inside the home was beautifully decorated with very nice and comfortable furniture and sleek countertops in the large kitchen area. Each room was immaculate with detailed décor to match the bay setting. The lighting in the home gave off a relaxing ambiance.

I cannot express the gratitude for all the owners, Debi and Keith did to make my stay perfect. A bouquet of flowers and a basket of fresh fruit were waiting in the kitchen when I arrived. They know how to make their vacation rental truly feel like a home away from home!

Relax at La Jolla Bird Rock 4bedroom

05/26/2011 - La Jolla, California - my favorite place to be in Spring! I recently stayed at a quaint cottage in Bird Rock that was just 20 minutes from everywhere I wanted to go! The airport, downtown San Diego, Sea World and the Zoo were all convenient to this beach house. Upon my arrival at this charming home, I was met by the owner, Annelie. She was so friendly and even left me a little welcome basket!

The house is more than comfortable with plenty of space and beautiful, fragrant orchids in all the windows! I felt like I had walked into a tropical dream house. This La Jolla home is spacious with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a beautiful patio right off the kitchen. It was so relaxing to sit on one of the deck chairs and watch the sunset right as it began to sink into the ocean. This home is perfect for anyone traveling with little cubs. The front yard is all grass and completely fenced in; perfect for playing games and running around. The owners even offered to let me use their bikes so I could ride along the beach! The greatest part about this getaway is how close everything is. The ocean, the shops, the attractions and my favorite coffee shop -The Living Room, are all within walking distance or a short drive.

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with easy access to the main street where you can find many restaurants and shops to browse. At the house, you won’t run out of the necessities. The owners have completely stocked the bathrooms with toiletries and linens and the kitchen is full of utensils and amenities.

I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday near the city of La Jolla!

Family Vacation at Gulf Coast BeachHouse

05/23/2011 - I enjoyed a perfect stay in a delightful home on South Padre Island. Natural light floods the well appointed house. The best part was that you could see the beach from virtually every window in the living room. The kitchen and baths all boasts granite countertops. Everything in the home was brand new – I felt like I was their first guest. The spacious tiled shower, fluffy towels and comfortable couches added to the overall comfort of this home. Each room even had a large flat screen television set with cable TV.

The island kitchen was stocked with every utensil a cook could need. But if you prefer not to cook, there’s a delicious restaurant just across the street. It was so nice to be only steps away from exquisite beach side dining.

Another incredible feature of this home is the spacious second floor patio. I spent quite a bit of time there just enjoying the beach views. But that’s not all, I walked down to the beach and within minutes was catching the highly sought after gulf trout and redfish.

What a wonderful vacation! It’s only a 2 minute walk to the beach and has an amazing view of the water. My trip to South Padre was everything I could have asked for and more.

Family Vacation near ocean N San Diego

05/23/2011 - One word: FANTASTIC! Fantastic accommodation, fantastic location and fantastic owners. For my recent trip to San Diego I enjoyed to staying at this lovely home in Carlsbad. It was only 30 minutes from the San Diego airport and was super easy to find. Upon arrival, Kim, met me at the house and could not have been more pleasant.

This beach house was very well maintained and had all a vacationing family could want or need. The cubs will love the playroom which was equipped with everything from puzzles and books to ride-on toys and stuffed animals. Your cubs can put a pin in the city they’re from on the gigantic map of the world. The small details were phenomenal. There was a fantastic book of everything to do in San Diego and Carlsbad with directions and helpful hints. Grocery store and pharmacy loyalty cards were left behind which will help you save a bundle when shopping for supplies. A special gift basket of ingredients for making s’mores was a nice treat to look forward to using in the outdoor fire pit. The beds were ultra comfortable and a full size crib can be set up for the youngest cub.

The beach was a very easy walk across the street, maybe 5 minutes max. Even though it was a great place for a family, I would highly recommend this home to any group. If you’re planning a trip to San Diego, you’ll love this beautiful Carlsbad home near the beach.

Charming Paris Apartment, Great Location

05/16/2011 - Ah, Paris in the springtime…so romantic. I truly enjoyed this marvelous city, mostly due to this apartment’s coziness and amazing location. I felt right at home and loved how everything I could wish for was right at my paw tips.

The best part about staying here was its location - there’s a Metro station 1 minute away by foot, the entrance to the magnificent Tuileries garden is just as close. You’ll love the upscale shopping just around the corner, and it was nice to be able to easily visit the Mona Lisa at the famous Louvre museum (just 5 a minute walk).

After a long day of exploring Paris and visiting museums, it was nice to relax on the cozy sofa in the nook by the bedroom. The bathroom was the perfect size - not too big and not too small; plus, I really liked the faucet in the bathroom. The water changes color according to the temperature; blue for cold, red for hot!

If you’re looking for the perfect romantic place to stay in Paris, look no further because you’ve found it!

Great Key West Vacation Condo!!!

05/12/2011 - From the moment I set foot in this condo, I was enthralled with its spaciousness and beautiful décor. With two full bedrooms and baths, a fully equipped kitchen, large living area and two balconies; it makes for a very comfortable stay.

The location of this condo is absolutely perfect. Just a short walk from the back door, you can get a front row seat to view the famous Key West Sunset in the evening. Also within walking distance is Duval Street which is filled with plenty of restaurants and shops for your entertainment. Don’t forget to grab a slice of Key Lime pie which is offered at multiple restaurants nearby.

After a long day seeing the sites, the pool at the condo is a great way to relax and cool off with a great view of the ocean just feet away.

There sure is a lot to see and do in the United States southernmost city. I can guarantee there won’t be a dull moment here. Come stay in this lovely Key West condo and you’ll enjoy a front seat to all the fun!

Enjoy Waterfront Sunset on Canyon Lake

05/10/2011 - My visit to Canyon Lake was just as peaceful and relaxing as I hoped it would be. The pictures of the view from this spacious lake house simply do not do it justice – you just have to see the sunset in person!

This house would definitely be perfect for a large sleuth of bears. The open layout allows for plenty of togetherness, but each bedroom affords the utmost in privacy. And the beds themselves were incredibly comfy – my oh my, this was one happy bear.

My friends and I really enjoyed cooking our meals in the fully-equipped kitchen and barbequing on the charcoal grill on the deck. When we were tired of the sun, we enjoyed a game of pool downstairs in the family room.

We were tempted to try out one of the area’s restaurants or nearby attractions like Schlitterbahn or even tubing the river, but we just couldn’t tear ourselves away from the comfort of the home and the beauty of the lake. This water really is some of the clearest in Texas!

Great Stay at Lincoln City Vacation Home

05/10/2011 - The Oregon Coast is one of those magical places you have to experience as soon as you can and as often as possible. That used to be what kept me coming back, but now I’ve got another reason: Shearwater House. April can still be a brisk time of year in Lincoln City, especially when you’re this close to the beach. That didn’t stop me from taking long walks on the water every day and searching for that elusive stone called agate. Once I’d gotten my fill of exploring and was ready to head back up the hill to the house, the hot tub would be waiting for me to relax and reminisce about the day while watching the sun set over the water.

I could easily have stayed at the house and enjoyed the walks, the panoramic ocean views and the cozy fire every day, but there was too much to see! The whale-watching excursion from Depoe Bay took us out on a boat to see if we could catch a glimpse of a grey whale – famous in these parts. I’m convinced he was watching us from the deep as we trolled by.

Debi, Shearwater House’s fearless owner, provided a wonderful list and I took advantage of every suggestion I could cram into my 2 days: Secret Beach at low tide (this is best in the summer); the Newport Aquarium (CUTE puffins!); the lighthouse at Yaquina Head; and Devil’s Punch Bowl (where I had the most amazing clam chowder!)

05/10/2011 - This beach house is a perfect getaway on the Oregon coast; from the instant you walk in there are ocean views surrounding you and you’re on the beach when you step off the patio! It was located very close to everything Seaside has to offer, which made it easy to come and go as needed.

All of the comforts of home were included (stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, wifi and satellite tv), and some extras like a sauna, three outdoor living spaces, game room and telescope were great to have! With a family room and formal living area, there is enough space to spread out if there is a large group of people but also plenty of cozy areas to relax as well. My favorite part of the home was the two master suites with panoramic ocean views that you can wake up to each morning! The main master suite has an amazing jetted shower and a spa tub too. The house was beautifully decorated and was a treat to come home to at the end of a long day. I can’t wait to return!

Relaxing Retreat in Port Ludlow, WA

05/05/2011 - Relaxing, quiet, peaceful, romantic, luxurious . . . This vacation home is everything described and so much more. The owners truly anticipated everything you could possibly need to thoroughly enjoy your time away. Beautiful gardens and water views delighted me upon arrival. The house was well lit with natural light from the many windows. Almost every angle showcased the magnificent water views. The kitchen had heated tile floors, granite countertops, top-of-the-line appliances and was fully equipped for any cooking need. The dining area was inviting with the picturesque window seat, unique lighting fixture, and endless views. My traveling companions and I thoroughly enjoyed the warm, cozy fireplace in the cool evenings along with a good movie from the extensive DVD library provided for guests’ entertainment. The surround sound system with volume controls in each room was a bonus! The pampering didn’t end there. The upstairs master bedroom boasted a plush king size bed and tall windows with beautiful water views. The master bath had heated tile floors, his and hers vanities, a walk-in closet with his and hers bathrobes and slippers, and a shower with jet options.

The fun was only beginning. We soaked up the sun in reclining lounge chairs on the lawn, relaxed in the hot tub, took a stroll along the beach, and enjoyed a good meal on the deck. It was so fun to have two kayaks available at the property to explore the beautiful water views up close and personal. Truly breathtaking!

Nearby attractions include waterfalls, hiking trails, historic Port Gamble, Poulsbo, whale watching, private local charters, local theater, Lavender Festival, art galleries, wine tasting, and more. Great Wine Country CA Vacation Home!

05/04/2011 - When I arrived at Alder Mews I found a tranquil private guest home situated within a gated community on a 20 acre ranch full of rolling hills, beautiful oak trees, a pond and some horses enjoying the pasture. This home is so peaceful, I immediately felt relaxed with its serene valley views from the pool area, along the creek side, and sitting at the pond. Every morning I was greeted by a family of geese and many other friendly feathered friends. Lounging in the hammock reading a book each morning is a great way to start the day while sipping coffee and nibbling on some tasty pastries that the wonderful proprietors had waiting when I checked in.

The home owners have transformed what was once a horse stable into this immaculate and pristine one bedroom cottage. They have taken great pride in perfectly outfitting this home with plush linens, stocked kitchen to include all the basics in the refrigerator and some cheese and a bottle of wine waiting when I arrived. The living room has two comfortable couches to stretch out on. After a day of wine tasting in Sonoma and the surrounding areas I came back to relax and enjoy the large 37 inch Flat Screen TV, CD & DVD player with a nice selection of DVD’s. The dining rooms seats 4 comfortably and also has a desk with high speed internet for those bears that have to stay in touch. The bedroom has a queen bed and perfectly set up for a wonderful bear nights rest. The bathroom is stocked with all the necessities you may have forgotten to pack, including shampoo, lotion, hairdryer, and beach towels for the pool. There is a spacious garage with a washer and dryer to clean your clothes after a busy day hiking the trails or some fly fishing at the pond.

The guest house is just a short drive from the historical Sonoma Plaza where you’ll find many shops, wine tasting specialty stores and restaurants.

It is a perfect getaway for a long weekend or extended holiday in this lovely cottage and explore the beautiful 20 acre setting in the California Wine Country.

Short walk to the beach!

04/18/2011 - I could not have enjoyed my stay any more than I did at this lovely, secluded home in La Jolla. The property is well stocked & very clean. It was nicely furnished with all the amenities you need. The rooms are spacious with plenty of sitting space in the multiple living areas. Lots of linens are provided and each bathroom was nicely appointed. You’ll enjoy the Master Suite for extra privacy and relaxation.

Situated in a nice neighborhood with lots of privacy, the home is just a short walk to the beach. Garage space was plentiful and the owner provided beach cruiser bikes for our convenience.

This property is nicely taken care of with wonderful updates. If plan to visit La Jolla, you’ll find all the comfort and convenience you’re looking for in this secluded cottage style home.
