  • Cool condo, cool area

"I was concerned about the area, everybody told me that I should have stayed in Sukhumvit but they were wrong. Th e river area is far better than anywhere else. Not too busy vendors but cool places to visit, View from condo is unbelievable, it is like if you fly, in particular from the bathroom, check photos, it is exactly like that. A lot of space and very well decorated, say modern New York style. Secure building, good transportation, excellent caretaker service, fairly priced. A more frequent ferry service would have been perfect but it was free.Spectacular pool, it doesn't smell chlorine, ok for children."

"Our 6 nights stay at your place was what we hoped it would be. the descriptions you have on your page was what it was in reality. no false advertisement, no pretentions only plain honesty. the place was well cleaned, maintained and cozy, the linens were very well places and cleaned, the toilet was of decent size as well. internet was fast and reliable, no issues with safety as well since there is constant security personnel on the front desk. very accessible as well to the heart of makati. overall it was EXCELLENT! thank you for being very accommodating and for the prompt response as well! great job!"

China Travel Tips

Getting to China Vacation Rentals

There are several major airport hubs in China and your destination will determine which airport is best for your arrival. If you plan to take in the historical and cultural sights of the capital city, it is most likely that you will travel to Beijing. The international airport is located just outside of the city and well connected through the public transportation systems. There are regularly scheduled flights from other major Southeast Asian cities as well as from North America and Australia. Alternate international airports can be found in Shanghai or Hong Kong. The airports are well equipped for international travelers and have easy access to taxis and public transportation systems. It’s not recommended to hire a car in China as driving is very challenging. Cities are highly congested; trains, city trams and monorails are far more efficient ways to get around the country. If you plan to head into more rural areas for sightseeing, you can make use of buses or hire a vehicle with a driver and guide to take you around.

Most Popular Seasons to Stay in Vacation Apartments in China

China is a country of extreme and diverse landscapes, and the climate varies accordingly. In Beijing, the summers can be sweltering and hot, interspersed with heavy rain showers which add to the humidity. Wintertime usually brings temperatures well below freezing. In general, the most popular time of year to visit is during August and September which are the autumn months. During this time, the temperatures are generally more moderate. Shanghai is located much further south and has a milder and more sub-tropical climate. The best seasons to travel are either spring, which is from March to May, or autumn which is September and October. Hong Kong has a tropical climate and during the summer months of June and July, the temperatures and humidity can get very high. Like many other parts of China, the more temperate seasons of spring and autumn are considered the best times of year to visit.

Visitors to China Vacation Houses

Most visitors to China have a strong interest in ancient Chinese history and culture. It is a nation with strong traditions and a rich and detailed history. There are many historic buildings, ancient temples and shrines that give testimony to various legends and heroes from the past. China is also a manufacturing giant and in terms of shopping, it is one of the most affordable retail destinations. Products range from electronic devices and gadgets to clothing and home furnishings. If you are particularly tall or large, you are unlikely to find any clothing sizes to fit you.

Major Tourist Destinations in China

There are a number of landmark attractions that most visitors to China want to see. Possibly the most famous is the Great Wall of China. While this stretches the length of the country, one of the most accessible places to see the wall is 120 kilometers north of Beijing in the town of Simatai. Other famous landmarks include the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square where the infamous protests were held. The Beihai Park is one of China’s oldest and most beautifully sculpted gardens and one of Beijing’s famous landmarks.

Shanghai is one of China’s most populous cities. Its landscape is characterized by rivers and lakes. Shanghai is home to many important temples in the Chinese Buddhist culture. In Xian are some of China’s oldest artifacts. It is near this city that the famous terracotta army was discovered by local farmers when they were digging a well. This impressive structure is now a museum that is open for visitors.
