  • Great Jerusalem Apartment - German Colony / Katamon

"My family, my wife, 17 yr old son and myself stayed in the Royalinn & Suliman's court apartments this past Pessach. The apartments were exactly as advertised. They were clean and very comfortable. I was extremely satisfied with the cleanliness of the apartment. It is also a nice size as we did not feel cramped even with a few extras folk who slept over during the Chag. Well located being 3 blocks from Emek Refaim, with all its restaurants and supermarket etc. Not a bad walk to the city center and Kottel perhaps 25 – 30 min. Aviva and her entire family were an absolute pleasure. Nothing ever too much even getting a few extra pieces of Shmurah matzah when we ran short. We would definitely come back."

  • Charming Accommodations in Great Jerusalem Neighborhood

"My husband and I stayed in this suite for a week in early September 2014. It was a first trip to Jerusalem for us, and we were looking for a central location, since we usually walk or take public transportation. The location of the suite was perfect--we walked to the Old City, the Market, Germantown, the old train station, the Israel Museum, and more, all quite easily. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and the garden location of the suite is charming. We loved opening the gate at night, and returning to the peaceful surroundings. The suite is spacious, the bed comfortable, the flat screen TV a perk, and the kitchen well-equipped for light cooking. The owners live next door to the suite, and they are friendly but non-intrusive. They told us where to find neighborhood coffee shops and restaurants and helped with directions when needed. All in all, I highly recommend this property. Friends of ours have already stayed there on our recommendation. My only word of advice is to use the railing on the steps to the loft bedroom at night (this from a woman who shattered her shoulder in the States and can't be too careful)."

  • Calm and lovely oasis

"This house is truly a gem in a lovely location. Our family of 4 stayed for almost 3 weeks and enjoyed it as a comfortable home base very much. The layout of the home is perfect for a family or those needing some spaciousness (especially while recovering from jet-lag this was especially welcome - since our children were up at every hour day and night while adjusting!) - the kitchen is well equipped, there is a lovely dining room table and we often cooked/ate meals at home. There is also an incredible yard with herbs, fruit trees, flowers and a view of the Mediterranean in the distance. The owner is an artist and her beautiful decor and peaceful aesthetic makes the whole house feel calming. We found Zichron Yaakov itself is the best location in all of Israel for a vacation - with its gorgeous pedestrian mall, artistic shops, coffee houses, etc. The nearby nature preserve (Ramat HaNadiv) not only has amazing gardens to walk through, but also has a restaurant set in an idillic location with one of the nicest playgrounds I've ever been to - so, the kids could play while we relaxed and ate. Beautiful beaches nearby (our favorite was the aqueduct beach in Ceasarea) We have rented many VRBO properties around the world, and this was one of the nicest - highly recommended!"
