  • Perfect place!

"For our vacation we searched for a place that would accommodate a family of five with sufficient space for our kids (2,5,9) and us, and that would be a good base for traveling around. This villa was just perfect. The rooms are spacious, it's quiet, clean and full of air and light. The smell of the flowers and herbs was dazzling, and the location superb. We strolled to the restaurants in the Main Street of Zikhron yaakaov, drove 5-15 minutes to two great hiking tracks, and enjoyed half a day in Haifa as well. Our kids enjoyed the place tremendously and had sufficient from to play on the living room and in the patio, and enjoyed having our tea and hearing the gentle sound of the water in the small fish pond. Ideal as a base for traveling in the north of Israel and especially in the Carmel area. We will definitely come back"

  • Spacious, well appointed apartment and great location

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Location is great - you walk out the door and are steps from Emek Refaim and the park near First Station. The apartment has a fully stocked, kosher kitchen. The bathrooms are updated."

  • Beautiful, clean and updated apartment in convenient location

"Our family of four stayed in this lovely apartment for a Shabbat weekend (Thursday night to Sunday). We found it to look exactly like the pictures - clean and neat! The beds were comfortable; the heat worked and there was even cable TV and internet. There was ample parking in the neighborhood and we found the location to be excellent for what we wanted; we could walk to the Old City, to worship services at Kol HaNeshama and to friends for lunch in Baka, as well as shopping and eating on Emek Refaim. Iris, the owner, was a delight to deal with and very responsive. She was out of town, but her daughter, with whom we dealt directly, was polite, warm and accessible. This is the first time we have rented a vacation property like this and we found it to be a very good experience. There were a couple of things I wish I knew in advance: 1) While this is a kosher kitchen, it is dairy/parve. When we brought in meat for Shabbat dinner, we used aluminum tins to cook in and paper plates and plastic silverware. The kitchen is not equipped for both milk and meat. There is a plata to heat/keep food warm over Shabbat. 2) There is a cooktop stove and a microwave, but not an oven. 3) We had to supply everything except for toilet paper and liquid soap, such as paper towels, aluminum foil and spices (there is salt and pepper). It was amazing how easy it was to work around these things ... I poached salmon on the stove instead of baking it and we bought prepared food at Machane Yehuda for Friday dinner, so all I had to do was heat it up (which worked great on the plata). We would definitely stay here again!"
