  • Very nice apartment and beach

"We were three couples sharing the apartment. Each room has a bathroom-- so it was very comfortable for all of us. Plenty of space for all of us. The beach, which is very nice, is a short walk from the apartment. The only negative is that the a park is not clean--a lot of garbage laying around. Food store is on the way to the beach. Easy to get some food. Location is good ----near highway and easy to get to almost anywhere in Israel. I still give it five stars since the beach, apartment and the location is very good. All of us enjoyed the stay. Would recommend this apartment."

  • Very good experience

"Very good experience. Great location, 5 min walk from Dizengoff st. with all its boutiques, cafes and restaurants, and busses connecting to everywhere in Tel Aviv. Considering the location it is surprisingly quiet! Very comfortably furnished with a sitting (TV) corner, a dining corner, lots of closet space . Fully functioning kitchen .Golan is available on the phone with any questions you might have, but I didnt need anything, the apartment had everything. Next time I am in Tel Aviv, I would absolutely plan to stay at this apartment again!"

  • The Best!

"We couldn't have found a better place for our stay in Tel Aviv! We were looking for a place that could house 4 adults comfortably. We found the perfect place in this recently renovated, modern apartment: 2 bedrooms--2 bathrooms. 1 bedroom with King beds plus 1 bathroom with full shower; 1 bathroom with tub and shower; guest toilet room. Spacious enough for a couple or a family. Meticulously clean with a full kitchen. Washer and dryer in utility room. And everything worked! Great water pressure with plenty of hot water and working appliances in the kitchen. Dor was easy to contact by e-mail or cell phone. He greeted us at the door and took the time to show us how everything worked. He highlighted nearby tourist spots, pointed out the restaurants and coffee shop at the corner, and the little grocery store around the corner with a larger market a few blocks away. There was even an express laundry across the street. All the taxi drivers commented that this was a very good neighborhood, very safe Another very important point: The rate that Dor gives includes cleaning, utilities, and extra people. No surprise hidden charges as we found at other vacation properties. We highly recommend this apartment for a two-day or month-long stay. You won't be disappointed!"

Israel Travel Tips

Getting to Israel Vacation Rentals

The main entry point into Israel is the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. Technically, the airport is located 12 miles southeast of the city but there is good access provided by public transportation and private taxis. There are also airport shuttles operated by the national airline. The airport hosts frequent commercial flights from most major cities in Europe and Africa. When traveling to Israel, you need to be aware that they have very strict security measures. Expect delays upon arrival and to have your bags thoroughly searched. When checking in for your flight home, allocate an extra hour for security checks. Israel also has two major seaports and many people arrive in Israel as part of a Mediterranean cruise. Ashdod and Haifa are the main cruise ports; however, smaller vessels may be able to dock at the marinas in Tel Aviv and Eilat.

Visitors to Vacation Apartments in Israel

Israel holds great significance for three of the major world religions, namely Christianity, Judaism and Islam. Many people from their various religions make pilgrimages to Israel, in particular Jerusalem, each year. There are many historical sites that hold cultural significance and are genuinely interesting to visit. It is a country that blends ancient traditions and history with a more modern culture. The cities of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem are examples of this contrast. Israel also has some excellent beaches along its Mediterranean coastline. Sun lovers flock to the beaches and warm climate in the summer months.

Major Sightseeing Attractions near Israel Lodging

Depending on where you are staying in Israel, there are many sightseeing attractions. The old city of Jerusalem, the Dome of the Rock and the Western Wailing Wall are three of the country's most famous landmarks. Of particular interest to Christian travelers are a number of the historical sites in Jerusalem. There is the Stations of the Cross which mark various points along the road where Christ carried the cross to the outskirts of the city. Then there is also the Garden of Gethsemane and the tomb that have been well preserved as religious landmarks. Golgotha, or the place of the skull can be seen just outside of Jerusalem's old city.

Throughout Jerusalem, there are various chapels, churches and shrines marking places believed to be of historical significance. For Jewish visitors, the most visited feature in Jerusalem is the Western Wall, otherwise also known as the Wailing Wall. The wall is where devout Jews congregate to pray for the restoration of Israel. Their prayer requests are written on pieces of paper and stuffed into the cracks of the wall. Just for the experience, it is well worth visiting. The Dead Sea is so named because of its extremely high salt content. Visitors can experience floating in the sea and enjoy a beauty therapy treatment at one of the local spas. Dead Sea mud is known worldwide for its healing properties. If it is beaches that you are looking for, the bright lights of Tel Aviv is the place to be. There is a great beach vibe here. During the day, you can relax on the beach and in the evenings enjoy the nightlife.

Travelers need to be aware that while most areas are safe for travel, there is an ongoing conflict in the Gaza region.
