"Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights. The townhouse looked exactly how it was in the pictures. It was well-maintained, clean and in good condition. There were heaters in the living room, which was a cozy area for the whole family to hang out when we wake up in the morning and after we get back in the evening.
The futons in the bedroom were very comfortable and we loved the blankets which were soft and warm. We slept very well every night.
The bathroom was quite big for Japanese standards. There was a shower area and a tub where one can relax one's tired muscles after a day's walk. The water was strong and comfortably hot.
Everything was provided for - coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, electric kettle, stove, microwave, toaster, cooking oil, mugs and glasses, plates of different sizes, bowls, spoons, forks, knives, chopsticks, kitchen utensils, pans, towels, toilet papers and tissues, toothbrushes and toothpaste shampoo, conditioner and body soap, cotton buds, body scrub, and 4 bicycles!
The neighbourhood was quiet and safe. One wouldn't be scared to take a walk alone even after midnight. There was a 24-hour supermarket nearby where we bought food for our breakfast.
Mr. Kazuya is a very nice man. Whenever we ask for advice via email using the portable wifi he provided, he responds right away. He even booked 2 cabs to bring us to the limo bus station which would take us to the airport.
One thing I would like to suggest though, please add more clothes hooks near the doorway to hang our heavy jackets. Also some hooks in the bathroom for us to hang our clothes.
Thank you, Mr. Kazuya, for giving us this opportunity to experience traditional Japanese living! We would definitely stay here again when we go back to Kyoto."
