"Although we haven't stayed at Makoto San's place yet but her response and very helpful information about the place make us impressed with her. We will keep this place for future consideration when we visit Tokyo again."

"My two sons and I stayed in this apartment for a 10-night stay. It was the perfect location for us, since the subway/train station was close by. We had plenty of space for the three of us.
Nakano has a grocery store, which we shopped at daily. It's just a few blocks from the apartment, and you pass it on your way to/from the subway station. One thing to keep in mind is that Nakano is not a tourist spot. We did have a bit of trouble when it came to dining in some of the local restaurants. Two of them turned us away. Not sure if it was the language barrier or if we indeed required a reservation. We should have asked our host, Makoto, for a few more dining suggestions while in that area.
Speaking of Makoto, he was an absolute pleasure. From the moment we reserved the room, until our departure, he provided us with much information and assistance. Make sure you understand the trash sorting before your host departs. It can be confusing. I would definitely stay there again. It was our home away from home."

"Our extended family of six recently stayed here for 6 nights. Location of apartment is perfect, we spent sometime wandering around the shops- found some fantastic restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, supermarkets, etc. Easy access to Tokyo and suburbs. The train system is great and we didn't have any problems getting around. Makoto was extremely helpful, he met us at the train station and provided all the information we needed. Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again."

"It's taken awhile to write this review; thought I had done it before. It was a great location, about a 5 minute walk to the station. Great little shopping mall nearby. A convenience store a couple blocks away. Quick subway trip to anywhere, really. The Miyasaki museum is a couple of stops away. Makoto-san was very helpful; met us at the station and walked us to the apartment. He was very efficient in the preparation for our visit, making sure we knew the train lines etc. We had a tiny mix up in the meeting, but communicated through Whattsapp. I'd stay there again."
