  • Do Not Stay Here Because WE WANT THE PLACE TO OURSELVES!!

"I'm afraid this place will get overbooked and we won't have a place anymore when we need it. But it would not be fair to keep quiet and not let readers know -- this is just the BEST place to stay in the Fort Bonifacio area! First, the warm welcome - a basket of local fruits to go with the owners's jovial personalities. They make sure you're alright. They call the next morning: "This is Tita Nene, is everything fine?" Everything is great! The condo is very pleasant and clean, and you have privacy when you have guests, as the bed is in the loft. When you open the door, count 20 steps, and jump into the pool. What a life! Then, restaurants all around make it unnecessary for any cooking... the choices are varied. Shopping is also fun, especially with Aura mall a few blocks away. You can walk to all these spots. On departure day, I was too frantic and I left my eyeglasses. Mrs. Manlapas kept them for me, and they are now in the possession of a friend. I cannot sing enough praises for this place, for our wonderful stay, for the guards who do a superb job, and of course ... the delightful Manlapases!"

  • Beautiful house - great location

"We stayed at the Arashiyama Hanare house for 10 days, and it was everything we could have asked for. A traditional living experience, but also very comfortable. The house was beautiful and well maintained - the owners were great and available for any questions, but we had no problems or concerns. The house is in a nice, quiet, neighborhood (there is even a pretty little temple right down the street), but still so close to 2 rail lines, the Arashiyama sites, and places to eat (for local "Kyoto style" sushi, try Daizen right around the corner - the chef makes great sushi and he and his wife are very friendly). We would recommend the house to anyone looking for a great place to stay while exploring and experiencing Kyoto."

  • The Highlight of Our Thailand Vacation!

"We have just returned back to the UK after a lovely holiday in Thailand. Our stay in your lovely villa and our time in Koh Lanta was most definitely the highlight of our trip. The villa was just perfect for our needs. We had to really push ourselves to venture very far from the garden and sala! The villa was sparkly clean on our arrival and we were met and shown around by Nick. He has it completely right as a villa manager. We knew he was there if we needed any help or advice but he was very respectful of our privacy which we appreciated. Thank you so much for allowing us to be guests in your beautiful home. We would love to return someday and we will most definitely recommend you to our friends. With best regards, Maggie and Pip Dwyer"

  • Great Stay in Villa Anjing - definitely not a dog House!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 day stay at the picturesque Villa Anjing! Each villa is so uniquely and beautifully designed, paying very close attention to detail. The outdoor showers are just magnificent, but watch out for the "creatures"! The infinity pool and tennis court top off the perfection that is Villa Anjing. Villa Anjing is the perfect choice for someone looking for a restful, peaceful and remote stay in Bali. While you must take a short drive to local beaches, it is extremely quiet (aside from the rooster calls every morning). The house crew - Dewi, Fifi and Chip - are extremely sweet and helpful. We miss them so much! Paul was accommodating in helping us arrange an extra car for our day trips around Bali. NOTE: If you plan to travel around the end of March/beginning of April, be sure to leave Bali for a day or two before the island-wide holiday known as "Nyepi." It is STRICTLY enforced and requires you to make no major sounds during the day, remain in your home for the duration of the day and use EXTREMELY minimal lightning at night. It is highly restrictive on a tourist's vacation, so please plan accordingly."
