  • Beautiful home, close to downtown. Don't book a Hotel, stay here!

"Beautiful home away from home. Perfect walking distance to the Stampede grounds which was what myself and my travel companions were looking for. Kathy and Glenn were always just a phone call away if needed and responded quickly. Perfectly clean upon arrival with tea, coffee and other helpful amenities in the kitchen. Beds were divinely comfortable, nice size bathtub too. All was exactly as described, the home is even nicer than photographed. Would (and have) highly recommended to others, and will hopefully be able to stay here again next year for these dates. Thank you Glenn and Kathy for the best vacation home we could have ever asked for."

  • Great place for families.

"This condo was great for our family! We did outings in Canmore, Banff & Lake Louise and this was a great place to return to each night. It has all the amenities you need. We were here for my daughters 14th birthday. She had a great time! Complete with New Years Fireworks. Thanks for sharing your place with us!!"

  • Great location, cozy and immaculate with all the amenities

"What an ideal location. Close to Edmonton and Sherwood Park, but isolated enough that you can enjoy the peace and quiet. The cabin was immaculate, and had all the amenities you could ask for. The wifi was great, for when you want to stay connected, and it was perfect for the odd Netflix movie. The homemade apple jelly and fantastic selection of teas and other comfort items were a wonderful bonus. Great place to relax and unwind. The views are great -- I never would have guessed how much fun I would have sheep-watching. There are tourist attractions nearby, including a bird sanctuary and Cooking Lake, if you are so inclined. Can't wait to return!"

  • Amazing Mountain Vacation Home!

"Our family of five truly enjoyed our stay at Eagle Point! The three bedroom, three bath layout provided plenty of privacy and room for my husband and I, our two college-aged daughters and our young adult son. The amenities were amazing! The home was equipped with virtually everything a family could imagine needing…from high-end appliances and a well-stocked pantry of staples to the tripod we used for our family photo in the back yard. The theater room was a nice bonus. The young adults in our family really enjoyed watching movies in the evening. The view from the back deck and hot tub afforded a wonderfully relaxing mountain atmosphere for my husband and I while winding down at the end of each day. The location of the house was ideal. Situated in Canmore with fantastic mountain and wildlife views (we saw a bull elk outside the master bedroom window), Eagle Point was close to a nice selection of shops and restaurants, yet it was in an area that was not as crowded or as busy as Banff and Lake Louise. Since our stay was during the summer, we spent a lot of time hiking and looking at wildlife. Again, Eagle Point was ideally located to enjoy the Banff and Lake Louise areas. (Dave and Emma provided a National Park pass which expedited our entry into the park areas as well as saved us daily entrance fees.) We drove the Icefields Parkway all the way to Jasper. The drive was incredibly scenic, and we were fortunate enough to see black bears, mountain goats and elk on the drive. We love the Rocky Mountains in the U.S., but this was our first visit to the Canadian Rockies. Our impression of the area was that the mountains were more majestic and the wildlife more plentiful than anything we’ve ever seen before. We have been home less than a month and we are already talking about going back. I highly recommend Eagle Point as a wonderful vacation experience!"
