  • Amazing Location - Stellar Unit!

"We looked at many places on line before finding this gem. The pictures are accurate but they don't begin to prepare you for how lovely the unit is and how well maintained and stocked it is. Such a great surprise to walk into. It literally has everything (and more) you might need for a week's stay at the lake. It is an easy walk (even with kids) to the beach and if you don't mind a bit of a hill you can also walk to get groceries or explore the downtown shops. Don't forget to take in the Saturday market. There are also good places to eat in the area so if you didn't have a car you could manage fine in this unit. The owner was very responsive to our questions and suggested a number of restaurants that we enjoyed. We discovered the FuzeFood Hut across the street which was great and we enjoyed the take out as a picnic at the beach only a block away. We also enjoyed Birchwood for a nice evening out on their deck as well as Peppi's for great pizza and interesting appy's and sangria. Didn't get to the Sushi place nearby but hear it is great as well. The unit has a great deck with a view of the mountains and the lake. There is a marsh directly in front of the deck which may account for a high mosquito population noticeable mostly after dusk. That was the only drawback to sitting out late but may have just been the time of year. The pool available to the condo is fantastic and well maintained as well. The place and the whole experience is amazing and we will be back! Many thanks for sharing your special home away from home!"

  • Perfect location!

"Getting around town is a breeze in this perfectly located condo. We walked to restaurants, multiple shops and down to the sea wall. It's easy to catch the aqua bus from the park down at the water and that will take you over to Granville Island. The neighborhood is quiet and the condo is well appointed. The building is secure and parking is in the garage below. You can leave the windows open for the fresh night air or use one of the fans provided. Over all this is a great spot to start your adventures in Vancouver."

  • Wonderful Relaxing Vacation!

"This condo is absolutely beautiful, extremely clean and in the perfect location. Short walk to restaurants, beaches and downtown Kelowna. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. Great rates also. Will be booking to stay here again on my next trip to Kelowna."

  • Peaceful Paradise

"We spent an incredible week at Luna Vista's one-bedroom cabin. The cabin itself is cozy and well-appointed, but the real beauty of this place is the porch/deck. The east-facing view from the deck looks out over water, Rebecca spit, more water, and then layer upon layer of mountain range, stretching into mist. We looked at that view in the morning, sitting and sipping coffee. We looked at that view in the afternoon, opening a bottle of wine. And we looked at that view in the evening, from the incredible two-person soaker tub. We were fortunate to have fine weather all week, but even in poor weather, Luna Vista would be an alluring destination. Gretchen and Doug were very friendly, giving us a nice greeting and then giving us plenty of privacy thereafter. As a base camp for exploring the beaches and trails of Quadra Island, Luna Vista is fantastic. We had a terrific experience here and would recommend this spot without reservation."
