  • Highly Recommend!

"Our family of 9 just spent a wonderful 10 days at Dayspring and surrounding area. The home was spacious and very comfortable. It is on the west side of the lake so no afternoon sun but that was OK because the weather was so hot. While there is water access, it is not a beach per se but rather rocks from which to jump/dive, which is a lot of fun. Not suitable for young children; but there is a pebble beach about 5 min walk down the road. Kaslo is about 10 minutes drive away - good for groceries, ice cream, and a semi-sandy public beach. One thing, however: the picture of the 'tea house' at lake level, while advertised on this site as seemingly part of the vacation rental, is actually not available but rather is for private use by the person living on the ground floor/downstairs of the house. We had everything that we needed at Dayspring and I highly recommend this to others for a family/group vacation home. It's a great spot for relaxing as well as a terrific base for exploring the area."

  • Awesome Experience

"We stayed at this property in July of 2010. We had several adults and kids with us and it accommodated us perfectly. The kitchen was stocked, everything was clean; there was even furniture items available for our baby. Beautiful view from the deck and a short walk from the Platzl. We have incredibly fond memories of our trip to Kimberley and have been trying to get back there ever since. Would stay here again in a heartbeat."

  • Comfortable accommodation in quiet setting

"Two friends and myself enjoyed ourselves for a 5-day stay in this clean, well-appointed townhouse. We each had our own queen or double bed in 3 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were great for 3 females. The back of the townhouse looks onto a wooded area where we spotted deer and mountain sheep. The location was great for walking in town or for driving hwy 93 to do various hikes. The owner responded promptly to questions and the rental process is straightforward. Cost was less than the local hotel and much more relaxing."

  • Looking for a relaxing get away with family, I highly recommend this beautiful house!

""My family and I had a wonderful stay at your home over the Easter long weekend! We really enjoyed being so close to the lake and the town, it made it easy for the kids to walk everywhere and spend lots of time outside. Your home is beautiful-it was very clean, tastefully decorated and the view from the family room and kitchen was spectacular! There was a lot of outdoor space for the kids to play and plenty of room inside to enjoy spending time together, preparing meals (loved that the kitchen had everything we needed) and relaxing. We definitely look forward to renting your home again in the future and highly recommend your listing for anyone looking for a relaxing get away with their family, thanks"! Sharlene & Steve"
