"Our family had a awesome time as we were there for our daughters wedding. The property is so well situated that you are only steps away from the lifts and all the amenities. The townhouse is so roomy and comfortable with great balcony's and a hot tub with a view of the mountains. Simply a wonderful place to unwind, this booking is a no-brainier."

"The Bear Paw Lodge comes with our highest recommendations. We were a family of 7 staying for more than a week - and the place offered everything we needed. The town of Golden nearby is a great place to visit and shop and the national parks of Banff, Yoho and Glacier within driving distance (and a car is a must). The bonfire place in the garden and the outdoor bathtub all just added to the experience. Definetly worth a five star rating !"

"This house was perfect for a long weekend away with 7 friends. It's easy enough to get on and off the hill for some golfing and whitewater rafting, and there's plenty of space to allow sleeping quarters for everyone. As previous reviewers mentioned there is a massive kitchen island that was ideal for having breakfast at or just hanging out, and everyone enjoyed the hot tub after a day rafting in 5 degree water! The Sonos sound system worked well, there was a remote at the house but several of us had the app already installed on our phones so it was easy to play whatever variety of music we wanted, we really enjoyed that. Our damage deposit was refunded the day following our departure and the transaction was painless. We'll look into this option again for next year's trip!"

"Beautiful location and size, right by a beautiful river and the mountains. Quiet area and has lots of stuff to do! The place was very clean, and even had those little extras like chocolate on the pillows and nice towel foldings. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with condiments and those little things that you always forget to bring. Also fully stocked with clean towels, pillows, and blankets. Comfortable couch for lounging and tons of space. Couple of things to be aware of is that almost all the appliances did not work. The wifi was non-existent (literally no network to even try to get on), the oven was broken, toaster oven broken, dishwasher did very minimal washing and would only allow you to choose one setting, and only one side lamp in the master bedroom worked. The hottub had instructions for us to use it but all the buttons had their label torn off, and when we tried to press them only 2 worked - 1 for lights - 2 to turn up the temperature (no down). It was also filthy - murky green water, was obviously low, and made all our swimsuits reek. Past that booking was actually a bit of a pain, every conversation I had was a struggle and involved much more contact than I wanted (4 phone conversations + emails). As well much of the info I wanted was held back until a week before the booking so planning activities was challenging. But all in all it was a great trip, and the time spent with friends here definitely outweighed the negatives."
