"This property hosted my group wonderfully. We have an annual ski trip and this place made our 2015 trip awesome. The place is better than the photos show. There is plenty of room for 10+ adults, awesome views and a great ski hill. The hot tub company made a service call, they were quick and friendly, he even gave us some mountain tips for the next days riding. The owners are great, Thanks again!"

"We are a family of four with kids age 9 and 6 and love the mountains. We were looking for a "home base" for our week-long stay in the Canadian Rockies and found Kickinghaus through a German partner site of VRBO (fewo-direkt.de).
The chalet was exactly as we had imagined - lots of space for the kids to spread out and have their private space. Well furnished kitchen, great bath, clean, and a lot of little things that contributed to a positive experience. You can definitely tell that the owners are keeping up the place for their own use, rather than just renting it out at an investment.
The owner was very responsive answering some questions we had during our stay.
We did some nice things around the area - took the gondola/chair lift at Kicking Horse resort for a visit with Boo, the grizzly bear and some hiking etc.- and also explored the area National Parks - Yoho with Emerald Lake and Takakkaw Falls, Jasper with Icefields Parkway, Lake Louise etc.

"4 adults stayed over Easter weekend for skiing and hiking. Great condo for 4 adults, will sleep 6 (3 couples) but 4 felt like the perfect number. Board games and nice little extras like coffee, tea and syrup in the condo. Would definitely go again as great location for a great price."

"We came for a family ski trip with ages ranging from 2 to 80, and the house was suitable for us all. It was great to have so many bathrooms, and it was nice that the beds in most rooms could be configured as either kings or 2 twins. We loved both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. The hot tub was big, and the water stayed clear for our entire week. The kitchen has ample counter space and storage. We loved having the boot/mitten dryer and so much storage for our equipment in the heated garage. We were able to meet the owners who are extremely down to earth. They even bought extra kitchen equipment upon request before our arrival. We had a great trip and will certainly be back."
