  • Small issues did not deter from an amazing Holiday!

"This is a well stocked condo situated on Kicking Horse Ski Resort. The place was clean, towels and linnens were provided and the kitchen was one of the best we have stayed in through VRBO. There were some small issues but really it was a great place to stay. My only real complaint is that there isn't a hot tub. We didn't really think much of it before we went out there but when we arrived we realized it is one of the only condo's in the complex without one. We were with a very large group at many different condos and we were the only one's without. I would recommend this to anyone who wanted to stay at Kicking horse."

  • Beautiful home, great rental experience

"Our family of 11 stayed here for a week; one of the best vacation rentals we've ever had. Plenty of rooms, bathrooms, private spaces and enough kitchen space, equipment and dishes for a crowd. Things that make the house extra special: clear beautiful rushing creek in the backyard, hot tub overlooking a fabulous patio area, outdoor fireplaces, stunning indoor great room with stone fireplace, in-wall espresso maker, peaceful mountain view. Would recommend a trip up the mountain for mountain biking, hiking, and lunch at Eagle's Eye Restaurant. Whitewater rafting on the Kicking Horse minutes away. Mark was very friendly and easy to work with."

  • An Awesome Place for a Family Vacation!

"With two active grandparents, six parents, and five delightful grandchildren under the age of 6 years of age, the cabin was a perfect place and met the needs of each individual. The skiers in the family could ski in and out, and the oldest two grandchildren joined in the experience, with everyone thoroughly enjoying great conditions on the hill. The children who were too young to ski enjoyed great walks and sled rides down to the base of the hill and then up on the gondola to a beautiful restaurant at the top of the hill where they joined the rest of the family. The hot tub was beautiful, and many good conversations occurred after the hill closed. As a family who enjoys great food and conversation, the design of the kitchen and living room accommodated this very well. With three families with young children, the separate rooms and living spaces accommodated their needs, so the babies could sleep with all the action taking place in other parts of the house. Additionally, I appreciated the support that Mel gave us from the time we booked until we were comfortably settled in the cabin. We have rented places in many different parts of the world, and this was among the very best for meeting the needs of our family. I would highly recommend this for families wishing for a fun-filled family skiing vacation."

  • Great Value with Everything You Need

"A group of 5 friends arrived for 5 days over New Years to ski at Kicking Horse which was less than 30 minutes away. The house was simple but everything you needed from miscellaneous condiments, utensils, coffee, tea, board games, BBQ (and propane!), and linens. The hot tub was ready to go when we arrived and we made sure we put it to use. The master bedroom had a king bed with a futon in the room, another room next to the main bathroom had a queen bed, another room had a double and final room had a bunk bed which had a double on the bottom and a single on top. The living room was cozy with an 'L' shaped sectional and a chair but we spent more time at the large 6 person kitchen table or in the hot tub. The internet was not working while we were there but when we called the owner he answered his phone and informed us of that along with a few of the other questions we had. All-in-all this was perfect value for our money, no 5-star hotel but everything you need."
