  • Great Home and Property -Kootenay Lake

"What a fabulous place to spend 1 - 4 weeks in the summer. My wife and I (seniors), celebrated a 70th birthday with our two daughters, husbands and four grandchildren (6-12 yrs. of age). The beautiful house had everything you needed, plus had a fabulous property on the water with great views looking down the lake. A large sandy beach provided great safe swimming for all (small children included) plus easy access for kayaks/canoes and larger watercraft. Twenty minutes by bike took you into the heart of Nelson while a 20 minute kayak trip took you to two beautiful secluded beaches across the lake. At night you can sit in the hot-tub overlooking the lake or just sit on one of the three decks enjoying the scenery, stars and solitude. What else to you want for a nice relaxing, fun filled holiday! We are all contemplating a future return someday."

  • This rental made our stay in Nelson super relaxing!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this suite for our week vacation in Nelson. The kitchen is perfectly equipped for cooking, the bed is super comfy, and the shower is awesome after a long day of play in the snow. Not to mention the zen-like stream that runs next to the property. Incredibly relaxing! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay in Nelson. Looking forward to our next stay!"

  • Kootney Huts

"It's a nice little cabin not far from Nelson. It's right by the highway so you do hear some of the traffic when you are there. It's definitely geared more towards winter use as it gets really hot inside with the warmer summer weather and the windows don't have screens which means that in order to have the windows open to cool the place down you will have to let some of the flying insects in. Not a major problem as you sill busy doing things outside of the cabin all day anyways. Inside there's a sitting area with a couch, a loveseat, two chairs and the wood burning stove. there is also a table perfect for puzzles and games. There are two bedrooms on one side of the cabin each with plenty of space for people to sleep. Each bunk has it's own light so you don't need to worry about turning on the light for the room and waking everybody else up. I found the beds to be quite comfortable and clean. The kitchen has plenty of space for everything that you would need to bring. I has everything you need for utensils, cookware, dishes and glasses. It also has a coffee maker if you need something to get you going in the morning and it has a kettle and a steeping pot for tea. It also has all the cleaning supplies that you will need. It has a bathroom right by the entrance that was nice and clean upon arrival. It has some storage under the sink and cleaning supplies are provided if they are required. It has a nice little shower with plenty of room for all of your soaps and shampoo which you will need to provide yourself. There are lots of areas to go hiking and biking nearby and there is also the lake in Nelson. There is a secluded beach that you can do a 6km hike to and enjoy the lake away from the busy main beach in town."

  • Ski Trip to Nelson, BC

"We had a great experience in Nelson and skiing at Whitewater while renting Lakeshore Home for a weekend. This house can host 20 people very comfortably; each of ten bedrooms is quiet and clean. The property is beautiful, secluded and well equipped for a big group. There is lots of comfortable space inside for lounging, playing pool or foosball and a hot tub outside to recharge for the next day’s powder turns. Thank you Lisa for a great stay and all your assistance!"
