  • An amazing stress free Get-Away

"My husband and I came to enjoy the Easter weekend together and find solace for our stressed out overworked souls, and that's exactly what we found in our little cottage. It was beautiful, peaceful, secluded, surrounded by the first buds of spring, with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. The cottage was clean and completely equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, a BBQ handy outside on the deck, plenty of wood to make a toasty fire in the fireplace, clean inviting bedding for an awesome restful sleep, plenty of towels, and a deep tub to soak our troubles away! (Thank you Leila for the wonderful bath salts!!) To our total delight fresh flowers graced our dining table and bedroom dresser and we discovered a basket of goodies in the fridge! We felt so welcomed and truly enjoyed our relaxing times as well as our hikes (plenty of trails to follow, and the lake is only a short walk down the hill, across the hwy, and down a well trodden path to the shoreline). We can't wait to come again! Thank you Leila and Steffen (and Journey too) for your gracious hospitality!"

  • Perfect Second Stay

"This is our second stay to this property and everything was perfect for our ski vacation. It is so convenient 'Toby Creek lift chair' is almost at your door. This is a very nice, clean and well equipped property. You have everything that you need for an enjoyable stay. Hope to return next year! Highly recommended."

  • Wow!

"The moment my husband and i walked in, we knew we loved the cottage. Beautiful views from every window with lovely breezes throughout the place. Clean and organized. We loved cooking in the kitchen and found everything we needed from a salad spinner to corkscrew, just every utensil you could ever need. The deck was our favorite spot, over the lake and surrounded my mountains! We saw eagles every day and humming birds. (we saw deer a at the side of the road right before we got to the cottage) and also again on the way back from an afternoon at Twin Bays beach - which is just a couple of minutes down the road. At night the star gazing was truly amazing. We saw a shooting star one night lasted for several seconds and the tail was spectacular with all sort of colours. We also enjoyed going to Nelson one day and Creston for shopping. i would highly recommend this cottage. Thanks Lorene for making the whole process so easy and for all your helpful tips!"

  • Great Value Rental

"My family and I (adult couple with three young kids) have been renting this unit for the past year or so. It is beautifully accomodated with everything you'd need to enjoy a comfortable stay and be fully self-sufficient. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals. The bedrooms are equipped with all linens and towels. The location is on a ridge with beautiful mountain views from both the front and back of the unit. Big Horn sheep and deer frolic just outside the unit and make for entertaining with your morning coffee. It is quiet and isolated yet close enough that you could easily walk to town. Just outside the front door is a pathway that heads down into the river valley along a pleasant walking trail. Barb, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with and has been great with us over the time that we have been renting from her. I would not hesitate to recommend her place to anyone and cannot say enough good things about Radium and the hidden gem that it is in the Columbia Valley."
