"The cabin is private and generally quiet depending on neighbours, weekdays were very peaceful, even in summer. Great view of the lake, missing it very much. Lots of interesting birdlife to watch and we enjoyed the rowboat and floaties provided. Not great for swimming unless you row/float out to the swimming dock and jump in, went to Emerald Bay on Green Lake for swimming. We lucked out with great weather, many clear starry nights, not as hot either compared to other nearby lakes. The log cabin stays cool all day. Had all the kitchen things you need. Owners informative and easy to book with. Large property, great for a family. Lots of fun stuff to do and see nearby. Stores at Bridge and Sheridan Lakes (awesome ice cream at Sheridan Lake Store!) carry basic foodstuffs, beer and liquor, the Esso on Hwy 24 has the rest of what you might have forgotten, or go in to 100 Mile. Great spot, would be good for winter as well. The only bad thing was that we had to go home!"

"We stayed at Linda & Doug's beautiful lakeside house for a week this summer. It was everything we were hoping for in a north country get away. The house was immaculate and tastefully decorated and furnished. 3 bedrooms, the master looking onto the lake. 2 full bathrooms all impeccable. Even a laundry room. The kitchen large and fully equipped, new appliances and BBQ, even a separate beverage fridge. The living room was so nice to relax in the evening with cozy couches, wide screen TV and even a fair library of DVDs. We were surprised to see a treehouse with bunkbeds and a little playground with swings and climbing area on the back lawn of the property. Would be great for younger kids. The lake - what can I say, tranquil, crystal clear and warm enough for swimming (20-24C). We were in and out of the lake all day off the dock. Very little boat traffic. Very peaceful, except for the occasional boat, all you hear most of the time is loons. 100 Mile House is a short drive (20 minutes on paved roads) to get groceries or supplies. We didn't have much luck with fishing but the lake is well stocked with rainbow trout and has also lake trout and char. Opportunities for day drips within an hour - hiking and biking but we liked the location so much we mainly just hung out at the lake house. Linda was a pleasure to deal with - very organized and welcoming. We highly recommend this as a vacation location in the South Cariboo."

"My family and I spent a week at this beautiful cabin. We have teenagers and dogs. I was extremely happy to find a cabin that excepted dogs happily. The pictures are exactly what you get. The cabin was easy to keep clean, and the property outside well maintained. My kids and fur kids had an awesome time. Went for a canoe ride around the lake and a couple walks and also just chilled on the sandy beach. My dogs spent hours and hours swimming, I could enjoy my morning coffee and watch the dogs swim while my husband went fishing. Very relaxing. The sandy beach is shallow for a long ways and would be great for little kids. The water wasn't too cold, it was the perfect temperature to cool off. We had nothing but sun and heat our week, the cabin inside heats up but there are fans and at night the temperature drops immensely, so you can have a great night sleep. The master bedroom bed was sooo comfy and my daughter said her bed in the loft was also soooo comfy. The screened in porch is awesome when the bugs get a little ugly. I would recommend this property to everyone. We are definitely returning next year."

"We stayed here for 4 nights over New Years. The cabin is beautiful, clean, large and full of everything you and your family/ friends would need: games, blankets, pillows, wifi, tv, movies, dishes, auger for ice fishing, peace and quiet, views etc. We were very happy with our stay and would love to return!"
