  • Happy Traveler!

"This basement apartment is a gem located in the heart of Sidney within walking distance of eateries, bookstores and shopping. The apartment is bright, well appointed and cozy. If we ever need a place to stay again in Sidney, this apartment is the place."

  • Wonderful Historic Home

"This was a wonderful place to stay in for our week in Victoria. I loved all the old furniture and especially the books! (Sear's catalouge from 1890's I beleive). Pat and Karl were both very lovely and caring people. The only thing that I wish was different was that I found the suite not very clean, the floors were covered in dust bunnies, the counter had a skiff of crumbs and the bath had some hair in it. It was not a big deal at all but it would have been nice if it was a little cleaner when we arrived. Perhaps a small vacuum would be an asset so guests could do a quick clean so the dust is not able to collect as much. I definitely recommend staying at this humble abode!!"

  • A very nice stay

"We had a very nice stay at the condo. We're a couple with two young adult children and there was lots of room for us. The place is very well stocked and the linens are great. The location is wonderful with lots of things to do within walking distance. A few things could be improved: the walls are quite scuffed-looking and could use new paint. We had no information from the owner about how to get keys or access parking, etc. This made us quite anxious in the few days leading up to our stay (it worked out great in the end, but it would have been better to know what the procedure was ahead of time.) The guest manual really needs updating! Some information is outdated, and there needs to be better explanations for how to work things."

  • Wonderful Honeymoon

"My fiance and I are from Oklahoma, and we wanted to do something a little out of the ordinary for our honeymoon and we settled on Victoria (which was an excellent idea) and ended up in this loft! It was my first VRBO experience so I don't have anything to go off of, but I can definitely say that this loft was everything I hoped it would be. Location - PERFECT - we bought some bus tickets when we arrived, and we didn't even end up using them all because we could walk virtually everywhere we wanted to go! The loft itself is beautiful and the pictures hardly do it justice. It's in a gated building and we felt much more secluded than we would have in a hotel of twice the cost... I don't think I even recall seeing/hearing any neighbors. In regards to noise from the street, I would say it's just something you have to expect being in a busy part of town, we definitely didn't have a hard time sleeping! My only critique would be the the property management company. I informed them about 2 weeks prior to departure that my flight will be arriving around 9 pm (they had never asked what time I was arriving, that I recall), and for some reason they kind've panicked and decided to mail me my room keys to Oklahoma so they wouldn't have to meet me that late in Victoria to get me the keys. The keys didn't make it to OK in time, so I ended up having to hunt down my room key at the airport because they decided to drop off a spare key for me to pickup. Ended up being an extra hour of hassle to find the dang keys, after 6 hours of traveling... not what you want to worry about first thing you arrive to your honeymoon destination. Again, the loft is everything I could have imagined, just be sure you work out all of your arrival/departure details LONG before you get there! Apparently it's a little too much work to get your client's their room key after 5pm."
