"My wife and I needed a short term rental before moving in to our new house. We were lucky enough to have found Tall Trees which was only a few minutes drive from the new house. The suite was fully equipped , clean and very spacious. The garden is filled with beautiful flowers and wildlife abound.
Very friendly hosts and most helpful with what we needed to know."

An enjoyable one month stay in the heart of Victoria.
"Fabulous help from Liz in making the arrangements. She answered all of our questions promptly regarding the location, amenities of the suite and the availability of services in the vicinity of the Juliet. Lawrence McDonald was our Concierge and met us upon our arrival. He was very personable, and very helpful during our stay. The central location of the Juliet to markets, restaurants. pubs, fitness club, major bus stops and shopping was excellent. Walks to the inner harbor (Empress) were less than 15 minutes. Being located at the intersection of 2 busy streets however resulted in early morning noise from garbage trucks (dumpsters) and many sirens during the night. You learn to tune out some of it after awhile. The suite itself was located on the 8th floor. It was clean and comfortable, but is due for a painting sometime in the near future. Nice view of the downtown area and hills in the distance. Elevator service was a small issue in the first week, but after repairs had been made, it was excellent. Overall, a memorable stay (despite cool weather). We would stay at the Juliet again and our rating is 4 1/2 stars."

"My husband and I along with our little Boston Terrier have just had a wonderful 4 weeks in a fabulous downtown loft condo in Victoria. The location is wonderful, close to shops, restaurants and pubs. John , the home owner , was helpful and accommodating. I look forward to staying here again."

"Deep Cove Retreat was a wonderful place for us to stay on the Island for the month of February. Upon our arrival, we knew immediately that this home was clean, comfortable and equipped! We were treated to ample quantities of high end linens and bedding and a kitchen with everything we could possibly need and more. There was room for our weekend guests and a large extended family dinner. Everything was comfortable, from beds to the sofa. Being situated in the Deep Cove area was a definite plus. We were close enough to Sidney to pop in for daily trips for groceries or other errands, but far enough away to feel like we were in the country. The airport and ferry are both just minutes away. The surrounding area is great for walking, biking, exploring of any kind. We, particularly, took advantage of these, as we brought along our 6 year old Golden Retriever, who requires daily exercise. Nearby Horth Hill Regional Park was a wonderful discovery for her walks! We were most thankful for the garage and its entry into the laundry room, the perfect place for a big, wet dog to dry off each day. And, although the yard was not fenced off as we had hoped, Susan and Don were extremely helpful with any requests we had to make things easier for the 4 legged member of our family. In fact, Susan and Don were incredibly helpful with everything and anything, promptly returning calls and emails. We will not hesitate to make return visits to Deep Cove Retreat."
