  • S.S.I.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay on Salt Spring Island. The condo was spotless and fully equipped for family living. It was decorated tastefully and bed linens and towels were lovely. A seafood restaurant, located very close to the condo, served the yummiest fish (halibut) and chips of our west coast vacation."

  • Very comfortable cottage on a idyllic island

"We stayed in Eagle View Cottage for a week (2 adults, 2 children aged 12 and 10) in August. The cottage was all that we had hoped - very clean, just the right size for the 4 of us, very comfortable beds, quiet location but in easy reach of Ganges. The kitchen is well equipped and the chickens outside the kitchen window were great entertainment. We were fortunate that the tide was in early evening when we were there so we made full use at that time of day of the kayak provided. Hot tub was also great though the weather was so good when we were there we really needed a cold tub! Kelly and Lionel were very kind and helpful hosts. They are just next door and available if you need information or assistance but were never intrusive. We had a lovely holiday on Salt Spring. There is so much to do and see that you can easily occupy a week here. Also it's rare to find a place with such an open, friendly and welcoming atmosphere."

  • Incredible home with everything you could want and a view that is amazing

"My friends and I stayed in this lovely property for our annual Salt Spring Island trip. The home was immaculate, everything you need for the kitchen is already there, the house is comfortable, lovely, a great price and has such a nice view. I will be renting this property again for future visits to Salt Spring. Thank you so much!"

  • A peaceful place to get away!

"We stayed here for a week recently and woke up to deer grazing out front on 2 of the mornings. It is unbelievably quiet, and the views are absolutely stunning! We sat out on the deck every morning with a cup of coffee watching the woodpeckers, taking in the view, and enjoying the ferry making its way to and from Fulford Harbour each day. This never got old! And each night, we'd take our glass of wine outside and do the same thing. At dusk or just before the sun is disappearing, the bats come out and they are amazing to watch swoop for bugs. We came to Salt Spring for a quiet and restful vacation (even though the hubby had to do some work), and that's what we got! The cabin includes everything you need to be comfortable for a week, and a strong WiFi internet connection. We also enjoyed having Netflix! Some of the restaurants we tried: Seaside at Vesuvius - VERY YUMMY mussels!!; Tree House Cafe - great food and neat place to eat; Rock Salt at Fulford Harbour - wonderful view and friendly waitress; Fernwood Cafe - good for breakfast out; Moby's Pub - great food and great place to meet some locals and enjoy watching your favourite sports on big screen TVs. Absolutely go whale watching with Ian (1-888-656-9878). He knows where those whales are and if there are lots of whale watching boats out, he seems to be the guy who just knows where they will pop up next. Its a red zodiac, and he's parked at Ganges harbour (his office is beside Salt Spring Adventures). We saw 4 transient killer whales on our venture - spectacular! He won't go out if there's no whales. Also a must do is the Farmer's Market on Saturday - lots of fun! The owner Judy was great to deal with."
