  • B&B - Best Ever on Salt Spring Island

"We've stayed at Frida's Villa several times over the past six or seven years - usually for 3 or 4 days. This past stay, however, has been for just shy of 3 weeks! It felt so comfortable & relaxing, we would have stayed longer, but had to return to civilization. The hot tub in the back yard's private "grotto" is just one of the highlights. The kitchen is so well equipped, we made two chowder soups while there. Just outside the door, there's a barbecue for use by the guests. Over the years, we've become great friends with the owners, who ensure that every wish becomes a reality. Thank you carl & Tracy for taking such great care of us!"

  • A wonderful week on Salt Spring!

"Our group of 6 (family of 4 with 2 sons aged 7 and 8, plus retired grandparents) had a wonderful time in the sunshine on this beautiful island. The property was spacious, well-equipped and in a great location. We enjoyed playing pool, running around the large yard, flying kites on the beach across the road, and beachcombing. The bikes and kayak provided with the house were a lovely touch. All of our dealings with the owners went smoothly. They are prompt to respond and very happy to answer any questions. Thanks for a relaxing stay and the chance to explore this little piece of heaven!"

  • cute and cozy

"We loved our weekend at the little orchard cottage!! The cozy loft was perfect for sunny afternoon naps, and he small deck was great for coffee in the morning and grilling dinner at night. Our hosts had to be away the day of our arrival but arranged for a friend to make sure we were taken care of. Sure, we complained a little on the walk up the hill from Ganges, but it was actually very convenient to get back and forth to town without a car."

  • We didn't want to leave!

"We enjoyed a very peaceful week at Seabreeze Cottage. Our favorite pastime was sitting on the wraparound deck with a drink or a meal, watching the wildlife (a heron and seals, among others), the yachts and the ferries. It was also a great base for exploring the island. It was always a dilemma whether to try the many excellent restaurants or stay home and enjoy the view. Our 6-year-old daughter was especially thrilled with the bunk beds and the Battleship game."
