  • Wonderful stay.

"We just had a wonderful week at Shady Shores, sunshine every day but one ,the fish ( pink salmon) jumping right in front of the resort , waves of them , my husband got a licence and caught his quoter each day, I loved the view from our two bed unit while I was cooking and eating breakfast dinner,we had fires on the beach in the evening , hot tub and kayaking. Free wi fi .The pub up the road was interesting , this is a great location for visits to Quailcum beach, mount Washington and further north . We enjoyed our chats with Carolyn ,she was most helpful and accommodating and humerus , the units aren't huge , but most suitable , we wouldn't have any qualms staying there in the near future, Carolyn, we never did have that glass of wine , next time ok! • Best place around!

"We stayed recently with 4 adults, two kiddos and two babies, and it exceeded our expectations! First off, it's interior is absolutely stunning with a beach theme throughout. The kitchen is well stocked with all the best appliances! The open concept ensured we could cook a meal, clean up and still stay together. The gas fireplace is luxurious! After walking around the neighbourhood, there was no doubt this was the best rental in the area and definitely the best price! PS Just book your spa treatment at the Tigh Na Mara early!!"

  • My time at Blackrock Beach House Retreat

"Wow what an amazing place. First impressions walking in to the beautiful open concept house was the 14ft. cedar plank table and the wall of windows over looking the ocean. Every morning coming downstairs looking out that wall of windows felt like Christmas morning. This place is awesome. Big, bright, clean really private all the modern appliances you could want in a fully stocked house. Close enough to town for a nice walk. Mostly loved spending time on the back deck watching the ocean, looking for whales spouts out over the water. At night fire pit right on the beach and the first time I ever saw stars that went down to the ocean - horizon. I would love to be here for different seasons of the year. Walked on Long Beach, had lunch at Wickinninish Inn, took in story telling with Roy Vickers - famous Native Artist and purchased a print and had it signed by him. Toured through Tofino and Ucluelet all the little shops there's something for everyone. I am blessed to have spent time with these strong women whom I love dearly and admire tremendously. This was the greatest place for a getaway. Thanks Barb you rock!"

  • a truly amazing place to stay

"Pearl Point Beach house is in a truly amazing location, right on the beach, with spectacular views. Sealions swim playfully by your window. The house is very well appointed for six or more, and immaculately clean. We stayed with extended family in the winter and it never felt crowded. The hot tub overlooking the sea under the stars was heavily used feature during our stays in cold winter evenings. Tthe reservation process was very effective and prompt. This property comes highly recommended!"
