"I had a lovley visit at this B&B, I came to the Comox valley for work and needed a break from the Super 8 and all that goes with that, so I stayed here. I was welcomed with a big smile and a real sense that they cared about by visit. The house is full of antiques and very comfortable. Breakfast was and out of body experience...Henri can really cook (Henri is a gal). The view of the ocean was spectacular. Lots of attention to detail with my visit. I had lots of privacy yet it felt like I was staying with family and it was very comfortable. I will absolutley stay here again when I return, Comox is a really nice comunity. Chad."

"The unit was lovely, clean and very quiet. We felt very safe in the building too. The views were great and we were entertained by watching the roofing repair project at the Empress!!! The master bedroom bed was very comfortable for my back. Usually I need to add cone foam wherever we travel but this bed was as comfy as my bed at home. It would have been nice to have a TV in the other bedroom since my husband slept in there. We both like to watch TV in bed and he missed having that during our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was nice having some supplies like dishwashing soap and plastic bags so we did not have to run out and buy everything for just a few days."

"When you travel quite a bit (as we do) and when you read reviews, especially consistently good reviews, there is always the question – are these real and accurate. From experience we can say, unfortunately places don’t always live up to the reviews. But having just spent nearly a month at Thalassa Point we understand why the ratings are exclusively a well deserved 5 of out 5. Great location, easy access to services yet remote and quiet – exactly what we were looking for. Other reviewers understandably highlight the attention to detail, the well equipped kitchen etc. All true – but the extras are so nice. Yes – there is a connector for music for your iPod/iPhone/iPad in the upstairs stereo. Yes – there is a wireless printer in the downstairs office (this was a working holiday for us). If needed, there is clear instructions for everything. And everything is new, or near new, clean and decorated with care and taste. This may be less of an issue for a night or weekend stay, but so nice for an extended stay. Add that our hosts (Robert & Mark) balanced friendliness, area insight etc with letting us maintain our privacy when we wanted was very appreciated. We have a few pictures of stunning sunsets over gardens that have a decade or more of planning and attention to remind us why we will be back."

"This is going to be our 5th year at Scott & Lorrie's place. The house is perfect and stunning but may still take a back seat to the tranquility of the neighbourhood and the beach below.
Our groups must have read 30 books and cooked massive feasts every meal.
The house is certainly modern and new with just a hint of west coast rustic. The views are stunning and the kitchen and deck are unparalleled.
We are so happy to have just confirmed that they are having us back for 2015!"
