"We're just home from an absolutely fabulous holiday on Vancouver Island, staying at the Beach House. From the moment we walked in we were bowled over by the layout, furnishings, kitchen set-up, and - most of all - the view. Between this house and the ocean is a two-level deck, a 10-m shingle path, and a driftwood log. That's it! The swimming at low tide was awesome. The hot tub was delightful. And we never got tired of the view east across the strait to Texada Island and the snow-capped mountains on the mainland behind. Early-morning breakfast on the deck required sunglasses, and the light didn't fade from the sky until after 11 pm. There are lots of things to see and do within a couple of hours drive. We recommend heading north to Denman and Hornby Islands; driving inland to Spider Lake, Coomes, Cathedral Grove, and Port Alberni; going south to Qualicum Beach and Parksville for beach walks and kayaking. Take swimsuits and towels wherever you go! We sampled the wine at 40 Knots Winery, enjoyed scallops from the store in Bowser, and gorged ourselves on local cherries.
We loved it so much, we extended our stay for another day. Thanks, Jim!"

"This was my husband and my second visit to "Home Suite Home" and we were not disappointed. Tara and Dan are amazing people and they are so very generous with their hospitality. We ate fresh blueberries every morning and then has delightful dinners using the produce from the back garden (onions, lettus, peas, garlic, etc). The suite is so clean and has everything one would need to have a comfortable stay. The community is quiet and very friendly. We so enjoyed the Market in town on Thursday evenings which has delightful music, tasty treats, BC grown produce and wonderful crafts made by the local residents. We are already planning our next visit as we would never think of staying anywhere else."

"Beautiful condo! Perfect for our family of 4.(Boys age 10 & 15) Great location, close enough to enjoy the amenities at the Bear Mountain Resort (Restaurants/Fitness Center/Pool) but perfectly set up to utilize the condo and cook our own meals as well. Grocery stores just a short distance away. Easy drive to downtown Victoria. The condo manager was very accomodatting and helpful with all our questions, and made the stay truly stress free!"
