"I stayed at Tanglewood this summer and my goodness was it everything I dreamed of and more for a vacation rental! It's right on the beach....nothing like waking up to a gorgeous view seen through the giant windows in the living room. The kitchen is huge and there is a bbq so you have everything you need to make meals. The owners have thought of everything! There are kayaks, floaties and numerous sand toys. The location is super close to Riptide minigolf and the condo is right beside Rathtrevor Park which offers numerous trails. I highly recommend this place !!"

"Six women- friends from grade school and university- have just stayed for our second annual visit at Dutchess Manor. It is the perfect spot for a group of this size. The house is meticulously clean and well appointed, the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need, including a champagne bucket! With five bedrooms and a den, we were each able to have our own space. Mornings, we had coffee sitting on the beach right in front and evenings we shared happy hour on the expansive waterfront lawn or glass fronted deck. Weather couldn't have been better and the regular sight of eagles overhead, herons wading on the beach and cruise ships passing at night all added to our idyllic six days together. We laughed, sang, cried and generally carried on as lifelong friends are meant to do. Thanks for making our reunions so special. We will be back!"

"I found the condo itself to be wonderful. It is a nice building, and the unit itself is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The kitchen in particular was one of the best equipped I've seen in a rental. The bed was comfy (though the pillows left a little to be desired), and it was impeccably clean throughout. There is a barbecue available, and a high end gas stove if you're interested in doing your own cooking.
Dealing with the owners was a great experience as well. Everything was well organized, they provided info not only regarding the condo but about local walks, attractions, etc.
The location is convenient for shops, restaurants, and of course the beach. It was a short drive to the many local attractions. It has great views of the sunset.
The only downside for us was the proximity to the highway and the parking lot for the public beach access. While the building itself was perfectly quiet (I never heard any of our neighbours and everyone was very friendly and considerate), we found it impossible to sleep with the windows open because of the loud vehicles and slightly boisterous crowd that would show up to hang out on the beach later in the evening. We would inevitably end up being kept awake by motorcycles on the highway or music being played from a car in the parking lot.
Overall I'd certainly still recommend this property, and we had a very nice stay."
