"I recently rented this unit over the Spring Break for some time with my Grandchildren. It was amazing. The unit was spotless with all the comforts of home. Beach walks, bike riding and BBQ's best family holiday yet. I will recommend this unit to everyone."

"We stayed here for 1 week and enjoyed the home very much. The hosts have thought of everything for your stay and the home is in a beautiful neighborhood. Beautiful walks and bike rides throughout our stay. Loved the patio and watching all the hummingbirds that landed on the feeders. Beds were very comfortable and lots of light coming into the home to make it bright and cheery. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. We may be back very soon."

"We arrived at Sandy Beach House this June and we're delighted with our stay! It is approximately 20 minutes from Qualicum Beach and just 5-10 minutes up island to Bowser. There is no coffee pot, but excellent coffee can be found at the Bean Counter in Bowser. There is also a great grocery and liquor store up that way.
The house is very spacious with three bedrooms and a large bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with laundry and dishwasher. We stayed with two young children and two seniors. We loved the privacy of this house and beach. When there are renters upstairs, it can be a bit noisy, but not any more than any hotel we've stayed in. When the tide is out the beach is paradise! Our kids (and us Adults as well!) loved finding Clams, crabs, sand dollars and all kinds of treasures. We enjoyed fires by the beach at night and found an abundance of firewood and propane to use. There is awesome fresh seafood at Buckley Bay and we loved buying shrimp and prawns right off the dock at Comox Wharf. We rented a paddle board from Courtney (three days for $80) and they were experts about strapping it safely to our rental van. The trip to the beach is pretty rocky, my parents used walking sticks they found along the beach to help them get up and down.
This house offers great location, space, privacy and value. We can't wait to return!"

"I visited Qualicum Landing with my wife, 2 kids aged 3 and 4, and one of their grandparents. Easy to say we had an amazing time. Days spent going to the lake, beach, the caves (yes caves) and many attractions in nearby Parksville. Evenings were spent in the pool which was outside the back door and BBQ's on the patio. This unit was modern, clean and had everything you would need. We stayed for 8 nights and had an amazing time. We highly recommend this for parents with young kids as there are several things to do, including exploring the beach which is about 150 meters away. Great place!! You won't go wrong with booking this unit!! P.S. Don't get your kids haircut from the Barber in town in the musty old, classic looking Barber Shop unless your kid is an 80 year old bald guy cuz that's the only hair he would be able to cut successfully (good thing hair grows back) ;)"
