  • Quiet water front get away

"Thank you so much for your hospitality! We were met by the home owners that showed us everything there was to know about the home and gave so special touches with home-made cookies and muffins for us to enjoy. Wonderful people. Wonderful well-kept older home with lots of personality and family love. It was the perfect size for us and our 4 kids. Everyone had their own bed which was important for our feisty group! Wonderfully maintained garden. Quite a bit of wildlife viewed right from the window. Fun water play for the kids. We didn't have time to take advantage of the kayaks or canoe, but definitely enjoyed the location close to Beacon and the water. Convenient location for lots of tourist destinations. Hope to be able to return some day. Thank you!"

  • Wonderful holiday suite

"We stayed here for three weeks and enjoyed every minute! The photos clearly show what is available. The owners were really helpful and provided everything we needed to fully enjoy our stay - above and beyond what we had previously experienced with other rentals. We already knew Sidney and we were delighted with how we got to see it all so much better by being so close to the town itself. The Summer Thursday evening market had all the fresh fruit and vegetables that we needed for our dinners. The cycle paths were excellent and offered all our family the opportunity to get around easily and safely. Easy access to local bus service, which is cheap and offers an excellent service. So good that we've already booked for next year!"

  • Gorgeous place

"My husband and I stayed here for a week with our teenage nephew. It is a stunning and large home (the ground floor of a two-storey building) within an easy walk to the shops and restaurants to downtown Sidney. Beautifully furnished and extremely spacious for the three of us. It is located on a fairly busy road and near the flight path for the Victoria airport, but the tranquility of the seaside view more than makes up for the traffic. The property manager is extremely helpful and responsive. Highly recommended."

  • Quiet, sparkling clean and luxurious

"My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in August. The property is exceptionally quiet, feels brand-new and is of very high quality inside and out. The "suite" (feels like a large hotel room with some small kitchen appliances on one wall and a large, luxurious bathroom) is lovely, with a very comfortable king bed and furniture for relaxing. Everything was sparkling clean and tastefully decorated with unexpected amenities such as a spotting scope on a tripod for watching wildlife out in the harbor. The view from the room and the deck of the water is wonderful. We watched seals playing in front of the condo every evening at sunset. There is a sweet little cover deck outside, perfect for enjoying coffee while you watch the boats coming and going. Note that there is no access to the water in front of the condo. But there are a couple of public parks on the water nearby that you can drive to. All in all, we highly recommend this place, especially if you are an individual or a couple looking for a quiet retreat."
