"Hi Steve and Trish,
Just thinking about the month of October and our stay at the condo. We couldn't have wished for better accommodation. As always, the condo made our stay a memorable one. So close to everything and we must say the condo building was quiet and well cared for. Thank you for everything.
Merry Christmas to you both
Bob and Enid"

"We spent five days at the end of June in the lake house and we loved everything about our stay. The house is very interesting; we loved how spacious it is and how much love and work was put into all the details. We found in it everything we needed for a comfortable stay and more! Kids loved playing and swimming in the lake and we enjoyed kayaking and canoeing. After water time we were busy trying different board games and doing puzzles. We also enjoyed hiking on the trails in the area and our trip to Tofino was an unforgettable experience!"

"We were a group of 6 Brits doing a 3 week tour and the Torino house was always seen as our chance for a chill out! All in all it delivered and was as we expected. What was a bit lacking was a lack of certain kitchen equipment - maybe some extra glasses, small saucepans, a strainer for pasta etc. We reported mugs missing and they were replaced and a lot of light bulbs were missing as well. I believe that the owners were having a few problems and were not aware of some of the things that were missing and we were given a small refund which was a nice gesture. Thank you. Maybe leave a check list so we know what we should have and then we could have let you know straight away what was missing?
The hot tub is just that - lovely and hot and the house is plenty big enough for 6 adults. It is 3 double rooms and a huge living room and large BBQ. Not much is within walking distance so a car is a must but the area is a delight! All in all a few minus points but on the whole it gets a thumbs up from us!"

"We were greeted with chocolates and wine in a spotlessly clean home. The home is beautifully appointed and decorated by someone who obviously has a sense of style, colour, arranging of furniture, pictures, spaces. It was an aesthetic pleasure every time we came "home" to our Deep Cove retreat. The kitchen was very well equipped -- far beyond what we experienced in other vacation rentals. We loved making espresso or lattes... While we didn't come with children, there were excellent books and toys there for them as well. And what easy way of entering from the attached garage and the conveniently located laundry room!
We loved walking in the area. It is only about 8 minutes by foot from a charming "market/coffee shop" and about 15 plus minutes walking to "Moses' point", a beautiful, secluded beach with Saltspring Island so close you think you can almost touch it. We enjoyed watching many kinds of sea birds in the water and a bald eagle overhead, as well as a sea lion swimming near us.
The Muse Winery is a few minutes away as well as the best high end restaurant in the Victoria area. There is also an organic orchard on Chalet Road.
And then, if you use your car, you are 7 minutes from either the ferry terminal or from the airport. You are about 15 or so minutes from Butchart Gardens which we visited at least once a week. You are 5 minutes from charming "Sidney-by-the-Sea" where you will find a range of lovely restaurants.
The place is "secluded" and yet so connected to everything you may want to see on the Peninsula or in Victoria.
While our hosts were themselves far away, through phone or email, we were able to have all of our questions answered right away and little house details dealt with."
