Great Location! Amazing Vacation!
"My family of 4 (including my 3 year old and 5 month old) stayed here for the entire month of May. Our stay was beyond wonderful - where to begin...
First of all, the location can't be beat. Everyday we would start and end our day along Dallas Road. It is literally a 3 minute walk to the waters edge and then you can stroll as long as you like. The Breakwater Cafe was a favourite stop for lunch and coffee breaks. Our daily walks also included trips to James Bay Village for groceries, coffee, snacks and lunch. We walked to the Inner Harbour a few times too, probably 15 min. max to get there (that's walking with a baby stroller and 3 year old). But you only need to drive 5-10min to get to any attraction you really want in downtown Victoria (Inner Harbour, Beacon Hill Park, Cook Street, Fisherman's Wharf etc.)
Secondly, the house itself was just perfect for our needs. It is very well appointed - there was nothing I missed from home that I really needed. The rooms were spacious and clean. Main bathroom with shower was on lower level, which is unconventional, but not a problem. You will spend the majority of your time upstairs which is a very cool layout. It's nice that the living room upstairs doesn't have a TV because it totally encouraged us to visit with each other. WIFI cuts out in the living room, but works well everywhere else. The courtyard is totally underrepresented by the pictures and overview. This hidden oasis was where we spent every other minute. We BBQ'd almost daily, and we sat out every night. You could hear a pin drop as the neighbourhood is so quiet. (Although, you can hear the cruise ship horns, seagulls and the clip-clop of the horse drawn carriages as they tour James Bay.).
Finally, Femke was very easy to deal with - she was helpful with answering my questions prior to the trip so that I could plan what I needed. She really cared that we would have a good time in Victoria and especially at the house.
We would love to come back again!"

"We stayed in the Romeo Suite at the Juliet for 5 days in June to visit my grandpa on his 95th birthday. We picked this condo because of its location in downtown Victoria, its furnishings, and the views of the inner harbor. It did not disappoint.
We were very pleased with the high level of security in the building, the proximity to shopping and attractions, the amazing views of the inner harbor, skyline and hills of BC, and the wonderful furnishings in the condo that helped make it feel like home. We took advantage by walking to coffee stores, restaurants, grocery stores and shopping centers. We had a car with us in order to get around the island, but the private underground parking garage made bringing a car very safe and convenient.
We would gladly recommend this condo and consider staying at the Juliet again. Thanks."

"We spent a week in this marvelous house. We were a family of 5 adults looking for a place to relax and have some quiet time and this home was perfect. Everything is clean and beautifully designed with taste and soul. We enjoyed the view on the bay that we had from the vast family room. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. The garden is an oasis with a lot of flowers and a private deck that we used often to read or to play with the two little and cute dogs of the owner who lives downstairs. The house is at walking distance from a grocery, a liquor store, a drugstore, the beach, and the University of Victoria. Downtown Victoria is 15 minutes away by car (otherwise, there’s a straight bus line with a stop close to the house). Irene, the owner, is kind and always ready to help if you have any question about Victoria or if you are looking for activities. She is respectful of your privacy, but will be up for a discussion would you like to. We really had a great family time there and would recommend it to friends without hesitation."

"My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Heart's Delight suite. What a wonderful surprise we had when we got there and found this apartment is a stone throw from all attractions down town. China town was but a block from us and Government Street just two. We found the apartment to be equipped with everything you could possible need and much, much, more. Very clean, organized and secure. Especially appealing was the underground parking with good security, we parked our car for the whole 4nights and walked everywhere. We took the water taxi which was contently located just outside our main door. Being “foodies” we were amazed at the number of good eating establishments around the area and the CANOE restaurant right outside our door step. Excellent food by the way. This is our first time using VRBO and we were very apprehensive as we didn’t know what to expect however we were presently surprised how effortless and affordable the owners made it seem. The apartment A/C was a god sent as the temperature was in the 30’sC. Like some of the other reviewers I would mention that the one bedroom does not have a door so if you do have two couples renting the place this may be a privacy issue especially if they are not very, very close family members. Heather the owner was always available and responded to my concerns. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent this apartment the next time we visit Victoria"
