"My night staying at SunShadows B&B was very peaceful and a welcome change from my time in Vancouver. This B&B is located in North Saanich (near the BC Ferries station), and it was very convenient for spending time at Butchart Gardens and traveling down to Victoria for exploring the Inner Harbour and the Parliamentary Building. I was able to meet with Fern, and she was very accommodating and flexible with my arrival time. Thanks again! :)"

An enjoyable one month stay in the heart of Victoria.
"Fabulous help from Liz in making the arrangements. She answered all of our questions promptly regarding the location, amenities of the suite and the availability of services in the vicinity of the Juliet. Lawrence McDonald was our Concierge and met us upon our arrival. He was very personable, and very helpful during our stay. The central location of the Juliet to markets, restaurants. pubs, fitness club, major bus stops and shopping was excellent. Walks to the inner harbor (Empress) were less than 15 minutes. Being located at the intersection of 2 busy streets however resulted in early morning noise from garbage trucks (dumpsters) and many sirens during the night. You learn to tune out some of it after awhile. The suite itself was located on the 8th floor. It was clean and comfortable, but is due for a painting sometime in the near future. Nice view of the downtown area and hills in the distance. Elevator service was a small issue in the first week, but after repairs had been made, it was excellent. Overall, a memorable stay (despite cool weather). We would stay at the Juliet again and our rating is 4 1/2 stars."

"My husband and I and our dog spent the long Christmas weekend at Maggi's. Was great to have a yard to let the dog sniff around - squirrel!- in addition to all the dog parks in Victoria. Enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood and walking distance to so many perfect spots - Parsonage for coffee, Fernwood Inn for drinks, Stage wine bar for small plates and wine. We actually didn't even go into Victoria much, the weather was so good we hiked every day. The place had everything we needed. Perfect!"
