  • Great location in downtown Victoria

"This is a really nice condo just a 5 minute walk from everything Victoria has to offer visitors. The condo is on the 5th floor (elevator serviced) and the view is over a serene park like setting. Important things to know: quiet, private, secure, immaculately clean, dedicated and secure underground parking spot (although those without a car won't need one), and well equipped. Everything works! We would suggest the 2nd bedroom and adjacent bathroom is OK but it's better suited, IMHO, for children. That's not to say adults can't use it but the master bedroom and ensuite bath is the nicer of the 2. In our case, and likely in many, a single couple may be using the condo so it won't be a concern. Would we stay here again? Yes! Would we recommend it to our friends? Yes! A really nice grocery store, BTW, is a short 5-7 minute walk. The Market at Yates (corner of Quaddra) is excellent. Make certain to enjoy dinner at Cafe Brio on Fort Street! It's a short walk and one of favorite restaurants anywhere. The owner called us to make certain everything was OK...nice touch!"

  • Sunsets to die for, in a home you wish you owned

"When you travel quite a bit (as we do) and when you read reviews, especially consistently good reviews, there is always the question – are these real and accurate. From experience we can say, unfortunately places don’t always live up to the reviews. But having just spent nearly a month at Thalassa Point we understand why the ratings are exclusively a well deserved 5 of out 5. Great location, easy access to services yet remote and quiet – exactly what we were looking for. Other reviewers understandably highlight the attention to detail, the well equipped kitchen etc. All true – but the extras are so nice. Yes – there is a connector for music for your iPod/iPhone/iPad in the upstairs stereo. Yes – there is a wireless printer in the downstairs office (this was a working holiday for us). If needed, there is clear instructions for everything. And everything is new, or near new, clean and decorated with care and taste. This may be less of an issue for a night or weekend stay, but so nice for an extended stay. Add that our hosts (Robert & Mark) balanced friendliness, area insight etc with letting us maintain our privacy when we wanted was very appreciated. We have a few pictures of stunning sunsets over gardens that have a decade or more of planning and attention to remind us why we will be back."

  • Victoria, BC Apartment

"Firstly, we enjoyed our stay (our 6th different location in Victoria in the past 7 years). The location is great and much about the apartment is first-rate. The linen, towels, appliances, and furniture (save for an overly firm master bed mattress) were of excellent quality and much appreciated. But there are some items which the owner might want to consider - more cutlery and dishes (we had 4 table knives and not enough dishes/glasses for all 3 daily meals). The remote (required) for the radio had no battery, which we purchased, along with metal tongs and a flipper for the BBQ (the plastic ones would not last long over a fire) plus juice glasses. And the largely empty walls begged out for a bit more artwork. Any place we have previously stayed in, has a booklet with info about the apartment (wifi password, rules and collection days for garbage and recycling), location of stores/banks/pharmacies, and maps/brochures about local sites. The owner initially verbally gave us the wifi password for the suite below us and coverage was limited until we discovered his error. Three of the windows on the street side rattle badly with wind or traffic, so much so that we had to stuff cardboard around their edges the first windy night. Finally, the apartment is located adjacent to one of the busiest roads in James Bay, with many trucks and service vehicles gearing up/down as they approach the short hill nearby - the noise can be quite deafening during work hours. So, I find it hard to offer 5 stars for this apartment - it is nice, but could stand some attention to details."

  • Spring getaway

"This was such a stress free way to take a vacation! Victoria Prime answered our emails quickly and it was a pleasure to deal with them. The condo met all our needs and is exactly as described on the website. It is a perfect location, very clean, beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed, parking is convenient. We walked to Beacon Hill Park, the harbour, shopping, great restaurants, and a great market for groceries. Sharon, our concierge was available to answer any questions and was extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again!"
