  • Great apartment

"The apartment was great. Very central, we walked everywhere and close to a grocery store. Very well equipped for short stays, had everything we needed. We were travelling with a toddler and this apartment was great for her as well. It was clean and tidy and the man who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again"

  • Wonderful find!

"This condo's location could not be better for visiting downtown Victoria: it's right across from Chinatown, and just a few minutes' walk to the Empress Hotel (their buffet lunch is superb! Served in the Bengal Room, once frequented by Rudyard Kipling), the Royal Museum and IMAX, the Legislative Buildings and so on. The condo's condition was immaculate - wish our own home could be as clean! There's a useful desk area and there's WiFi. Underground parking was much appreciated as street parking can be hard to find. Maureen, the owner, met us at the entrance when we arrived and showed us around the condo. She was a super host! If you want a clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay while visiting Victoria, this is it!"

  • Parents of the Bride

"My daughter's wedding was in Victoria and as she has a small condo we needed a place to stay. I am not very fond of hotels and I wanted somewhere that my family could stay together. There was myself,my husband, my mom, daughter, sister and her husband. My niece and her partner also joined us for a couple of nights. This home was perfect! It is spacious and very well equipped. Nice linens and lots of them. We even hosted a meet and greet before the wedding and it was great, our guests loved it, the home has so much personality and beautiful unique artwork. It photographed so well in our pic's due to the great light. The bride and bridesmaids got ready here as well. Location is perfect, we like to walk and it is close to everything. Highly recommended, so much nicer than a hotel and cost effective too!"

  • An enjoyable one month stay in the heart of Victoria.

"Fabulous help from Liz in making the arrangements. She answered all of our questions promptly regarding the location, amenities of the suite and the availability of services in the vicinity of the Juliet. Lawrence McDonald was our Concierge and met us upon our arrival. He was very personable, and very helpful during our stay. The central location of the Juliet to markets, restaurants. pubs, fitness club, major bus stops and shopping was excellent. Walks to the inner harbor (Empress) were less than 15 minutes. Being located at the intersection of 2 busy streets however resulted in early morning noise from garbage trucks (dumpsters) and many sirens during the night. You learn to tune out some of it after awhile. The suite itself was located on the 8th floor. It was clean and comfortable, but is due for a painting sometime in the near future. Nice view of the downtown area and hills in the distance. Elevator service was a small issue in the first week, but after repairs had been made, it was excellent. Overall, a memorable stay (despite cool weather). We would stay at the Juliet again and our rating is 4 1/2 stars."
