Great hideaway in the midst of everything!
"Great views, great personal space, two balconies. Security like a bunker! But appreciated, even if it seemed like overkill in a city that is apparently very safe! Couldn't get enough of the view. Appointments were very well thought out. Rules were a bit much, but manageable. Be aware, when two couples are sharing that the second bedroom is very small and the bathroom is through the living room and down the hall. There is one TV for all. There is no a/c which was not a problem for us, but with windows open all the time, it gets pretty noisy, especially about 5a when the trash trucks are working. Your neighbor is the JW Marriott, to help you with mapping. Easy walking to everything. Try 10 acres for a nice evening meal!
We would certainly stay again, we had a wonderful time."

Comfort, Convenience, Cleanliness in Central Victoria with short walk to The Empress!
"My husband and I were looking for a romantic Victoria getaway and we are so pleased that we found the loft. Cleanliness and a great sleep are both paramount to us and it was obvious that this owner really cares. The linens, sheets and amenities are of the highest quality and there were little designer touches and art everywhere. The bed was super comfortable and I was particularly pleased with the great water pressure in the shower. The wifi connection was fabulous, and the designer couch in the sitting room was so comfy that a couple of nights we just lounged and stayed in. We rented bikes for our stay, but if you have a rental car, a car parking stall is included (not easy to find this in central Victoria!). The ceiling to floor windows open on to historical Waddington Alley which is foot traffic only, so you thankfully miss out on traffic noise. I really wanted to find a location near The Empress Hotel and this did not disappoint as it was a very short walk away. You enter through a locked gate in to a private courtyard where you can lock up your rental bikes and then you enter another locked door to the elevator which takes you up to The Loft. We spent quite a few sunsets sipping our wine and watching the boats entering the harbor on the private roof terrace just one floor up. We highly recommend this little Victoria gem. Book early though! If you are lucky enough to stay, try two of our favorite restaurants right in Waddington Alley around the corner: Terrazzo (phenomenal, romantic and super popular among the locals. You will need a booking) and Willie's for the best breakfast ever!"

"We had a very nice stay at the condo. We're a couple with two young adult children and there was lots of room for us. The place is very well stocked and the linens are great. The location is wonderful with lots of things to do within walking distance.
A few things could be improved: the walls are quite scuffed-looking and could use new paint. We had no information from the owner about how to get keys or access parking, etc. This made us quite anxious in the few days leading up to our stay (it worked out great in the end, but it would have been better to know what the procedure was ahead of time.) The guest manual really needs updating! Some information is outdated, and there needs to be better explanations for how to work things."

Nice, clean and comfortable rental in walking distance of lots of stuff!
"House was very comfortable, in a good location (about a 10 minute walk to the Royal BC museum, Fisherman's Wharf, and more). It was very clean and well stocked (extra linens and paper supplies, coffee, tea, etc.) The restaurant next door had really good food and coffee/pastry takeout with really nice staff. The owner was nice and flexible especially given our last minute rental. Kitchen and laundry were good, beds were comfortable (fold-out couch was as comfortable as fold-out couches get). Only complaints are quite minor - the knives were dull, making cooking a bit hard, the wifi didn't work in the bedroom (only the living room) the glass coffee and end tables and tall pub table weren't great for little kids, and there was a broken blind and a missing towel bar. Overall, it was as described, clean and comfortable, and we would definitely consider staying there again. One odd thing: the photo in the listing isn't of the rental house."
