  • Our Thanksgiving weekend

"What a beautiful place to be "home base" for exploration and adventures in the Ucluelet and Tofino areas including Pacific Rim Park and Wild Pacific Trail. And to celebrate time together as a family. And when, for 24 hours, it did rain pretty hard it was a lovely place to retreat, read, play games while still feeling very much in nature as the views from the windows throughout the house are amazing. (And change with the change in tides - so cool!) The kitchen was one of the best equipped we have ever used through VRBO, or elsewhere. So making Thanksgiving dinner was no problem, and you could continue to take in the view while doing so. And there is a great propane grill as well. All was well maintained. Bedrooms were comfortable. There are 2 king size beds and a double pull out couch (in a separate room from the living room). And 2 bathrooms. Additionally the owner was easily accessible by email or phone and helpful with regards to any small detail. We would love to return and hope it can be soon."

  • Great location

"This was a great location, close to everything we wanted. We walked everywhere, even went for a long run along the water. We did have a car so we could go golfing and do a little sightseeing but there was plenty to see and do within walking distance. Condo was great, we enjoyed having a balcony since the weather was so nice."

  • Perfect vacation getaway for family

"The location is in a quiet, picturesque oceanfront where you can experience a relaxing commune with nature. You can watch the sun rise and set. The condo is just a few steps to the pool and hottub which is well maintained. The unit itself is posh and clean with modern amenities - a home away from home. Our family enjoyed crabbing, oyster picking and clamming. It is a good location also for those who love to kayak. The pictures I downloaded in Facebook already garnered a lot of interest from friends wanting to have the same awesome vacation we had. Thank you for a wonderful stay, can't wait for the next."

  • ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC HOUSE & ANEIMITIES-HAD THE TIME OF OUR LIVES!!!!!

"We stayed at the Beach House June 20-23, 2014. It was as wonderful as described, but even better! A magical time was had by all. We were a party of 10. 5 adults, 5 children ranging in ages from 17 months to 17 years old. We got together as a family for the first time in years & had not met some of our grand children. I cannot begin to describe just how wonderful this house & all it contained was. The view alone was breathtaking, kitchen fantastic, bedrooms, baths, & all areas of the house were clean, neat & very well kept. The laundry & dishwasher were used every day. The kitchen had enough dinnerware for our army & just about everything possible we could have needed. Kerry & Christyne have added personal touches & tried to imagine everything possible for children & adults to keep themselves busy when not enjoying the beach. The chairs facing the beach in the picture show exactly what you will see. A wonderful spot to watch cruise ships, ferries, boats, etc sail by or just sit with a drink or coffee and contemplate life. The outdoor grill was great, as my son-in-law had caught salmon, & we cooked out in the evenings. The hot tub was extremely relaxing for the adults after a long day. The kayaks (life jackets provided), croquet, table tennis, volley ball, beach buckets & equipment, & all the numerous toys were an extra nice touch & kept even our littlest one entertained. Although there was a large video library, the TV did not come on once. There was so much for us to do & we knew immediately 3 days were not going to be enough. The wildlife coming onto the property was very exciting, especially for the 17 month old. Quallicum beach was a short trip from the house & afforded us a long low tide in the morning to hunt for sand dollars, starfish, shells, & crabs. The market at Coombs with the goats on the roof was fun & the variety of flavors of ice cream available were too numerous to mention. We plan to Visit this house yearly & will be staying for a week or two, if Kerry & Christyne will have us. We wish we hadn't waited this long, unfortunately jobs & being so far away made it difficult until this year. Again I can not say enough about our wonderful visit at this fantastic house. We have become repeat customers for ever!!"
