  • Waterfront cottage Nanoose Bay

"We stayed here for a week in August. The cottage is exactly as pictured. It is huge, and the views are stunning of the ocean, offshore islands and mountains in the distance. We were very comfortable, and used the recently renovated kitchen and BBQ to eat most of our meals in. We found it to be very clean and well maintained. The layout would be perfect for multiple couples or families with children and lots of room to spread out, both indoors and out. The local grocery store in Nanoose is only about a 10 minute drive. The Marina restaurant has closed, but lots available in Parksville 10-15 minute drive away. We enjoyed exploring a number of the local parks, beaches and trails with our dog, and unwinding. There were some neat markets and galleries in the area as well. We would definitely come back, and have recommended it to friends. We felt for the size, view and quality it was very good value. It is built on a slope as seen in the pictures, so there are a few stairs from the parking level down to the cottage, and then stairs down to the beach, so might be not suitable for all."

  • Perfect vacation getaway for family

"The location is in a quiet, picturesque oceanfront where you can experience a relaxing commune with nature. You can watch the sun rise and set. The condo is just a few steps to the pool and hottub which is well maintained. The unit itself is posh and clean with modern amenities - a home away from home. Our family enjoyed crabbing, oyster picking and clamming. It is a good location also for those who love to kayak. The pictures I downloaded in Facebook already garnered a lot of interest from friends wanting to have the same awesome vacation we had. Thank you for a wonderful stay, can't wait for the next."

  • Great Location

"My husband and I rented this condo for 5 days but if we had known we would have stayed longer. We wanted to get away from the white snow in Alberta and see some green. It looks just like the pictures. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed to set up house. The view from the balcony was of the ever changing ocean Because it is a corner unit the light is amazing. There is a beautiful boardwalk that runs around the shore and we got in the habit of walking at least every day. Very friendly people who greet you with a smile. Nice way to start the day. Janice met us and showed us the tricks getting in and out. It also comes with an underground parking. We didn't use the pool or exercise room but they looked nice. we just didn't get a chance. Great places to get fresh fish close by Will will go back again for sure !!!"

  • Our Thanksgiving weekend

"What a beautiful place to be "home base" for exploration and adventures in the Ucluelet and Tofino areas including Pacific Rim Park and Wild Pacific Trail. And to celebrate time together as a family. And when, for 24 hours, it did rain pretty hard it was a lovely place to retreat, read, play games while still feeling very much in nature as the views from the windows throughout the house are amazing. (And change with the change in tides - so cool!) The kitchen was one of the best equipped we have ever used through VRBO, or elsewhere. So making Thanksgiving dinner was no problem, and you could continue to take in the view while doing so. And there is a great propane grill as well. All was well maintained. Bedrooms were comfortable. There are 2 king size beds and a double pull out couch (in a separate room from the living room). And 2 bathrooms. Additionally the owner was easily accessible by email or phone and helpful with regards to any small detail. We would love to return and hope it can be soon."
