  • Family reunion

"We have a large family traveling from Ontario and BC. This house, and the amazing owners, was perfect for us. Lorna and Gibson (hosts) were gracious, and accommodating to our ever fluctuating numbers. Family came and stayed for dinners, easily sitting on deck, in kitchen, and on lawns.Sometimes up to 20 of us! My grandchildren (6mos -8 yrs) had a terrific time, both beaching and picking blackberries with Lorna! Rosie, the family dog adopted us and was wonderful with the kids, playing endless games of fetch! My mother who is has a little difficulty getting around had no problem with stairs or beach lane. The house is large and furnished comfortably, with a huge living room which could hold us all! The photos do not do this property is far more beautiful. The house was well stocked with everything the 10+ of us staying there needed. We had a perfect family vacation, and thank Lorna, Gibson, Venice and Murray for all they did to help us put this together! Would love to go back and stay anytime.. I would recommend this home for any vacationing family. Beach is sandy when tide is out, and the view is indescribable..."

  • Fantastic Condo!

"We were a party of 5 in Victoria to move our 17 year old son to the University of Victoria over the very busy Labour Day long weekend. We chose the comforts of a condo over having to book 2 hotel rooms which worked out to be perfect for us. It was only a 15 -20 minute drive to downtown Victoria or UVic. This tastefully decorated condo is in almost new condition with granite countertops and top of the line appliances. It was very peaceful and quiet during our stay. Considering our busy weekend, we were able to unwind at the end of each day relaxing on either one of the generous sized decks over looking the golf course. If you are a nature lover you you will appreciate the visits by deers and Canada Geese. The only thing that would have made our stay better is if we had more time. We will definitely stay here again when we return."

  • Perfect Family Holiday

"We were at this lovely cottage for a week and it was absolutely perfect. The owners were fantastic to deal with and phoned to check in a couple of days into our stay. We came to Parksville last summer as well and stayed at one of the smaller cottages. We chose to upgrade this year and were not dissapointed!! There is so much to do here, and I could have lived on the back deck. The porch swing was heaven surrounded by beautifully manicured flowers. Will be back for sure. One tip blow dryer for your hair ;) minor detail. LOVED IT!!!"

  • Everything Worked Out Perfectly

"I recently rented this home along with three of my golfing buddies for a three night stay and it was ideal for our needs. We are all semi-retired guys in our early 60's and are well beyond sharing bedrooms and bathrooms, so the lay out with four of each was perfect for us. The location is great, very central to lots of golf. We played Storey Creek, Pheasant Glen and Crown Isle while in the area. The view from the sun deck is fabulous and there was an eagle constantly hunting and feeding her fledgelings. We could also see the sun glinting off the mainland mountains while the sun rose over the Salish Sea. In the house, the kitchen, dining room and great room are all connected which makes it all very social. There is a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor which is good for anyone with trouble with stairs. Upstairs, there are two beds and baths including the master which has a great view over the estuary. The fourth bed and bath is in the basement along with the hot tub which we made good use of. The kitchen is very well equipped and we had some great dinners. There is a very large high capacity fridge and nice island for assembling meals. All-in-all, we had a first class experience, the owners are great god deal with and we will have no hesitation renting from them again. Highly recommended!"
