  • Great place!

"My wife and I stayed here with our two teens (18 and 15) for a week this past September and had an awesome stay. We especially liked the view of the ocean right from the suite and the close proximity to the ocean made for easy frequent beach combing. The suite itself is very nice and well maintained. The indoor pool, hot tub, and weight room on the main floor of the building are nice features especially in the evenings after dark or if the weather doesn't cooperate. The location of the condo was ideal not only for beach access but also for being within walking (or short drive) distance to numerous restaurants and all sorts of shops. It is also only about a 5-7 minute drive to Coombs which is home to the famous "Goats on the Roof". We went there several times during our stay. Parksville also serves as a great central location for exploring many different areas of the island such as Cathedral Grove, Englishman River Falls, Nanaimo, Coombs, Port Alberni, etc. Our family had a great time and we highly recommend this property. It was our first time at this property but our third VRBO rental and all three have been amazing."

  • A very memorable stay.

"We have rented this amazing property for 7 months. Our comfort and needs have been well looked after by Lynda. The layout of the house is charming, with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathroom upstairs, and a full bathroom downstairs. Very useful when there are many guests staying. The laundry room is large with a washer/dryer and a sink. Great to rinse out clothes after a day at the beach or lake. The faucet outside the front door is useful to rinse dirty footwear. The kitchen/dining room/patio door to the outside, allows a crowd to move easily. It has the same small appliances that you have in your own home, with plenty of utensils, pots and pans, and crockery. The fridge freezer is large for all your provisions. All the bedrooms have a T.V.. The living room T.V. is connected to Apple T.V., providing a large selection of viewing when you may need it. However, with the sea view outside, the fire pit stocked with wood, and the gas grill and patio furniture, you will rarely use them. Lynda's properties are all beautifully decorated. She has exquisite taste which is reflected in all the soft furnishings. The garden in Cliff House South is well maintained, and even has a fresh herb garden in a box. Campbell River is an unique place to visit. Our favourite excursions were the orca whale and bear watching trips. From this property we sighted eagles, one humpback, dolphins and seals. We have been so happy staying at Cliff House South. We look forward to returning soon."

  • Fantastic condo in the heart of the city.

"My husband, his sister, her fiance, and me stayed in this amazing condo right in downtown Victoria. It was the perfect place to getaway with great views of Parliament. Everything was easy walking distance and the concierge who met us upon arrival was wonderful, full of wonderful inside information about the city."

  • Victoria, BC Apartment

"Firstly, we enjoyed our stay (our 6th different location in Victoria in the past 7 years). The location is great and much about the apartment is first-rate. The linen, towels, appliances, and furniture (save for an overly firm master bed mattress) were of excellent quality and much appreciated. But there are some items which the owner might want to consider - more cutlery and dishes (we had 4 table knives and not enough dishes/glasses for all 3 daily meals). The remote (required) for the radio had no battery, which we purchased, along with metal tongs and a flipper for the BBQ (the plastic ones would not last long over a fire) plus juice glasses. And the largely empty walls begged out for a bit more artwork. Any place we have previously stayed in, has a booklet with info about the apartment (wifi password, rules and collection days for garbage and recycling), location of stores/banks/pharmacies, and maps/brochures about local sites. The owner initially verbally gave us the wifi password for the suite below us and coverage was limited until we discovered his error. Three of the windows on the street side rattle badly with wind or traffic, so much so that we had to stuff cardboard around their edges the first windy night. Finally, the apartment is located adjacent to one of the busiest roads in James Bay, with many trucks and service vehicles gearing up/down as they approach the short hill nearby - the noise can be quite deafening during work hours. So, I find it hard to offer 5 stars for this apartment - it is nice, but could stand some attention to details."
