  • Comfy Cottage

"This cottage has all the amenities. It's clean, comfy, spacious, and well-equipped. There are a lot of things to do near-by, so it's a great location. The owners have a lovely gem of a property at Oceanside Resort. We didn't even go to the swimming pool or hot tub, as the cottage was so cozy with its fireplace! We would adore to come back to this place of ultimate relaxation! Lots of places to walk the dogs nearby, too."

  • Great House/Location!

"This was our first time in Campbell River so just wanted to explore a little; try the restaurants/pubs; and relax. It was fall so we had rain, sun, wind, clouds--everything! The house/property was comfortable in all weather. We enjoyed the electric fireplaces inside; the hot tub with a view of the ocean; the porch with the heaters and the view!; the driftwood beach; the DVD library; the great wifi. (The wifi wasn't working well when we got here so the next day, Georges had a new router installed!) Georges and Rumina, the owners, were great! Rumina made some great chocolate/banana breakfast cake that we snacked on the whole time. The refrigerator was stocked with milk, eggs, butter, etc. and Georges brought some great bread for toasting. Rumina had the bathroom stocked with a variety of high-end hair products to try. Everything was clean and the house was tastefully decorated and very interesting! We were close to town and enjoyed walking the Rotary Seawalk with all the wood carvings and of course, the beautiful view! We loved the view of Elk Falls north of town and the huge trees! We enjoyed the Quay West Pub and the Riptide Pub in town. We would definitely come here again and will recommend it to our friends! Happy Guests from Seabeck, WA"

  • The best cottage ever

"Ralph and Rocky are the nicest hosts a person could want. My husband and myself try to make it out every year and we always stay in their cozy cabin. We have returned and brought our family as well as out of town guests and rented out the top floor of their other chalet. Ralph and Rocky always make you feel right at home and are always so helpful. We usually rent a boat from them and go out adventuring. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful and relaxing getaway. Did I mention Rocky is the best baker around? The Girard Family"

  • Amazing experience in every way!!

"The only negative thing I can say about our visit was that we only stayed two nights here!! This is the type of place that deserves a much longer stay. This property has to have one of the most spectacular views I have seen in a very long time. The unit itself was immaculately clean, with heated floors in the bathroom (amazing in the morning!), a huge and comfortable bed, and a microwave, kettle, water cooler, Tassimo coffee maker, panini grill/griddle, as well as a fridge. We also got the added bonus of finding the fridge stocked with basic breakfast/lunch supplies, although we didn't really take advantage, it was really a nice addition, as was the bowl of fresh fruit when we arrived! The view from each of the several outdoor patio areas, including the hot tub, was definitely the highlight of the stay. We literally spent one entire day outside on the patio just reading and taking in the view. We unfortunately got there for the two most overcast days of our trip, but would return just to see a sunrise. The doors going outside offer a spectacular view to watch the sunrise from bed, and we woke up early both mornings but unfortunately were clouded out. Our hosts, Char and Bob, were fantastic as well. Very warm and friendly on arrival, and then we barely saw or heard from them unless we needed something. It may be a shared property but it certainly felt like we had the place to ourselves. Do yourself a favor - stay here, and stay for as long as you can, it's worth the trip!!"
