  • Great place for families with loads of activities for the kids.

"A well appointed condo. It was perfect for a family of 4. I think 6 might be tight. We had the two parents in a bedroom and the kids in the main living room (one on sofa bed and other on a cot). The condo was clean and very up to date. Having the large patio area was great and added to the living space. Being on the ground floor is key. The complex had loads for the kids to do... indoor pool, tennis, golf, ping pong, volleyball, soccer, beach with slide, etc. We had a boat which was a bonus. However within hours of arriving our kids were offered a ski on another families boat. The community of people ar very friendly. There were lots of kids around to play with (young and old). The adults often meet for appies and drinks and we were invited. They even do a mini boot camp some mornings. So if you like a place filled with lots to do and friendly people around this is your place. Russ was very easy to deal with. We even left a very precious ring and he managed to track it down and keep it safe for us at his home."

  • STUNNING!!

"We stayed at this Condo for 3 nights and it was the nicest place we stayed our entire holiday. It is beautifully appointed with all the comforts of home. The bed was very comfortable and the Condo was spotless clean - everything new and a true pleasure to come home to everyday! The underground secure parking was a nice bonus too as we had our bikes with us and having the trolley at our parking spot for our luggage was so convenient when we arrived and departed. Cindy has thought of everything!! We golfed at the course across the street which is also very nice. Everyone we met while staying at this Condo were so nice and friendly as well. When we come back to Qualicum Beach we will want to stay here again for sure. The only thing missing was a BBQ however I'm sure if we had asked, it would have been provided. I would highly recommend staying here! I forgot my electric curlers and Cindy returned them to me express post. Much appreciated - thanks so much Cindy!!"

  • Victoria, BC Apartment

"Firstly, we enjoyed our stay (our 6th different location in Victoria in the past 7 years). The location is great and much about the apartment is first-rate. The linen, towels, appliances, and furniture (save for an overly firm master bed mattress) were of excellent quality and much appreciated. But there are some items which the owner might want to consider - more cutlery and dishes (we had 4 table knives and not enough dishes/glasses for all 3 daily meals). The remote (required) for the radio had no battery, which we purchased, along with metal tongs and a flipper for the BBQ (the plastic ones would not last long over a fire) plus juice glasses. And the largely empty walls begged out for a bit more artwork. Any place we have previously stayed in, has a booklet with info about the apartment (wifi password, rules and collection days for garbage and recycling), location of stores/banks/pharmacies, and maps/brochures about local sites. The owner initially verbally gave us the wifi password for the suite below us and coverage was limited until we discovered his error. Three of the windows on the street side rattle badly with wind or traffic, so much so that we had to stuff cardboard around their edges the first windy night. Finally, the apartment is located adjacent to one of the busiest roads in James Bay, with many trucks and service vehicles gearing up/down as they approach the short hill nearby - the noise can be quite deafening during work hours. So, I find it hard to offer 5 stars for this apartment - it is nice, but could stand some attention to details."

  • Great Times on the Lake

"This was an awesome house to have on the lake for the week! Especially for families, with the rec room full of toys upstairs to the beachfront that kids can wade in from, this was exactly what we were looking for. Great location on the sunny side of the lake too! Had all the stuff you need at a lake ( water toys, lots of towels, BBQ, huge patio) and an awesome dock to laze away the afternoons. Not to far from amenities either, if your running low on stuff. Can't wait to get back there next year!"
