"We stayed at Sonora Pines Estates for four days while wine touring in Oliver. The location is great - quiet and secluded but yet close to everything you need. The house is spacious and very well equipped. We had everything we needed! We were greeted with two yummy bottles of wine made from our hosts' vineyards - so nice! There was also a delicious cheese and cracker plate and all the fixings for breakfasts for our whole stay! Thanks so much! The house was lovely and beautifully clean! The bed was very comfy with great sheets and bedding! I was so nice to have laundry at our disposal. We especially enjoyed the large deck (with access to a barbecue) overlooking the vineyards! Thanks Ron and Rilla for everything - especially the lovely wine upon our departure - can't wait to try it! So nice of you... The only thing I missed was easy access to a walking path and the lovely gardens that we enjoyed at our last stop in Penticton. However, I would highly recommend this great guesthouse - we'd definitely come back! Thanks again for everything!"

"This is our second time staying at this cute cottage in LaCasa. We stayed for a week and it was not nearly long enough! Our friend is already talking about going back in the fall!
The cottage is very well stocked so you literally need to bring your food and clothes...most everything else is there. Don't expect fancy...it is nicely furnished with all the essentials.
If you are not familiar with the area, the resort is on the west side of the Okanagan lake. We love it because it is close to Fintry Provincial Park and is just far enough away from Kelowna to feel like you are escaping the noise and traffic of the city. Make sure you bring your groceries with you because there are no large markets on site. There is a restaurant at the resort with a nice patio that, I hear, has great pizza in case you don't feel like cooking. There is a large firepit down by the lake where you can roast hotdogs or make s'mores...yum!
Brought our little dogs and there are lots of roads and hills and paths to take them walking...even a little dog beach at the lake. They also seemed to enjoy sitting on the secure, glassed in deck. Very safe for pets and children.
For us, the best thing about the cottage is that it has an unobstructed view of the lake and there is nothing better than sitting out on the deck enjoying your morning coffee or grilling in the evening and watching the stars. The deck is awesome!!
The resort has tennis courts, pools and hot tubs which were always available because it was not very busy when we were there. We also got a super great deal this time of year too!"

"Our group of 11 friends stayed 4 nights at Dwight Out January 2015. One of the best ski in/ski out locations we've ever stayed at. Even though there wasn't enough snow that we could ski directly from the back door across the road to Millie's Mile, it was just as easy to go the other way across the overpass and down to Black Forest chair. Excellent kitchen layout and nice to have a table bit enough to fit our large group! Hot tub was also lovely after a day on the slopes and had a nice view for the fireworks! My only complaint would be some of the kitchen appliances and dishes were dirty when we arrived, and there was leftover food bits in the dishwasher which was kind of gross and the bbq had leftover meat scraps stuck on the grill. However the rest of the unit was in great condition and beautifully furnished. Would definitely recommend it to friends and will definitely keep Dwight Out in mind for our next trip!"

"We arrived to find a perfectly clean, private and comfortable home. Waking up to breakfast on the deck with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Ok lunch and dinner on the fantastic deck too. Great location for our grandchildren. Shallow safe waters, plenty of sand, sun, shade, breezes and beach toys. Close walk to Rattlesnake Canyon amusement park and ice cream next door! Plenty of conveniences and all the comforts of home.
I can't wait to do it all again next year!"
