  • Great Family Vacation

"Our extended family stayed here to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. We also rented the Eagle Moon Cottage at the same time. Dawn was very helpful and accommodating in our communication. She was called away on an emergency just before we arrived, but ensured that we were met at the place and had all our questions answered quickly for us. The house was beautiful, and as a large family, we loved the "great room" where we could all sit and visit. LOVED being on the river - spent many afternoons in it. The grounds are beautiful as well, with lots of room and lots of inflatable items to use in the river. We were able to hire a photographer to come and take family pictures right on the grounds for us. The games room in the basement was used lots by the young people. Will definitely stay here again."

  • Fantastic!

"We are on our final day of a 9 day (8 night) vacation at Trapper's. The bungalow exceeded our expectations... The house was as pictured, was clean, great location (close to beach), had new beds, & had beautiful yards with multiple seating areas. The hosts, Sandy and Rod (also neighbors) added many personal touches, including personalized emails, welcome treats for adults and kids, and suggestions for community adventures/ activities that fit perfectly for our family. Thanks to Sandy & Rod, we were welcomed to the community & felt 'at home' from the start. The lake was warm & was fantastic for boating & swimming. We are eager to share our experience with others & look forward to returning!"

  • Fun in the Sun

"The 6 hour drive from Maple Ridge to Christina Lake was time well spent. Our journey took us along a wine route through the Similkimeen Valley, through the organic farming capital of Canada, and numerous historic small towns. The lake house was easy to find and everything was ready for us to begin relaxing immediately on arrival from the Gourmet Lasagna and fresh herb bread left for our dinner to the frosted glasses in the freezer ready for a cold beverage. The kitchen was very well equipped for the additional cooking we did the rest of the week, and shopping is close by in the town with anything you might need at reasonable prices. There are a number of trails nearby that would be suitable for hiking or biking: we tried the Kettle Valley Rail Trail and Cascade Gorge. There is lots of fun to be had in the lake as well with boating and swimming (cleanest, warmest lake I've enjoyed in years); or get up early in the morning to sit on the large private dock and enjoy the peace and tranquility. The well arranged outdoor space provided many options for enjoying all your time outside and we ended just about every evening with a fire in the fire pit overlooking the lake. Rick, our host, also checked in on us during our stay and took us for a lovely afternoon boat tour around the lake. Indoors and outdoors the property was very clean and well maintained. Incidentally, a neighbor who was renting nearby floated over on her kayak to get the contact information on the property we were staying at ....."

  • Bigger than it looks - awesome location

"From the moment you enter the home it feels warm and inviting. Lots of extras available for children. Great outside area for dinners and campfires. Close to many amenities including the beach and tennis court/park. Friendly neighbourhood. Only one bedroom on the main floor."
