  • The Wonderfujl Post & Beam Home

"The beautiful Post & Beam. What a wonderful way to wake up in Canada, as we arrived in the dark from Vancouver at 9.30 pm. Looking across towards the Okanagan Lake was the most marvelous view from the deck and one we never got tired of during our four day stay. The only downside was having to leave and not been able to stay in this perfect home for longer. Everything was first class and everyone relaxed and had a wonderful start to our touring holiday in B.C. The use of the private beach and access to the lake gave us hours and hours of relaxation and fun especially for our eleven year old grandson. The owners of this property were the ideal hosts and we cannot thank them enough for making our stay here the more memorable. We long to go back."

  • 10 days on Okanagan Lake

"So pleased with our choice of vacation rental! This cottage is clean, roomy.......perfectly appointed & tastefully decorated. We never wanted for anything.......absolutely anything we needed was there for us. The view was spectacular........couldn't get enough of it! The beds.....and pillows.....were very comfortable......for me......that's a huge plus. It is about a 20 minute drive to Kelowna......but that's not an issue, since the view on the drive is so beautiful.......who cares how long the drive takes? Kelowna itself is a beautiful city......with everything you could possibly need. The owner of the property gave us accurate details about the property.......exact directions to get there from the airport......and access, if needed, to the handyman of the property. Perfect holiday!"

  • Fantastic location and owner

"Our family of four stayed for three weeks July/Aug 2014. Boys (3 and 5) loved the heated pool. Beautiful views. House is super clean and well maintained. The owner, Tony, is a wonderful person. Very caring and concerned about how our stay was. Checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Location is very quiet and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully get a chance to return soon."

  • Good for our family

"We stayed a full week at this location, at first on the map it appeared to be a bit on outskirts of the city. Once settled, we were pleased with how quickly we were able to access the city, services & attractions. We rented a 1 bedroom loft, worked well for us, a lovely view from the patio. Our children are ok to share a bed, the pull out sofa was big and a good one, easy to pull out and put away. We are trying to teach our kids the internet and TV are not what life is about. Took away the phone and I pad. After 2 days they seemed to forget ! Highlight of the week was a memorable walk where the old railway was, called Kettle Valley. Very gentle walk with some seating at various locations, we took our own lunch, it was such a nice experience. They gave us a map and told us a better way to get there. It was also quite a bit cooler. Saw an owl ! The beaches in Kelowna on Lake Okanagan are very busy, we liked the small one just north of Quail Ridge in Lake Country Took the kids to the family fun center just a short drive, they had a blast, played mini golf for the first time. Our son got a hole in one ! This ened up being an inexpensive outing. We paid $899 for the week and were pleased with the price and quality of the condo. There was a stain in the carpet next to the kitchen, they cleaned it, other than that nothing negative to report. After searching for quite a while we felt this was the best bang for our buk. We did want a place with an office and someone to call if there was a problem, we got the managers cell number in our confirmation email. Nice people that run the office. Thanks to Sara our housekeeper who gave us some extra T paper and supplies. The little chocolates were a nice touch. The coffee they supply is very good! We hope to return next year. Casey Lee"
