"This home is lovely and clean, with a beautiful view of the green space, pool, and Wood Lake. The boat slip is just down the road on a well maintained dock. Facility also has day only boat slip use at the complex and we found it very convenient. The condo itself was spacious and well equipped for any vacationers needs. Owners were pleasant, easy to contact, and helpful. Lake Country is wonderfully convenient with easy access to both Kelowna and Vernon. Wood Lake/Kalamalka Lake are beautiful, warm, and perfect for water sports. An excellent condo for boat-goers."

"We have rented many summer homes and this one is at the top of our list! The little shuswap lake is quieter than the big lake (we liked this) but still as clean and warm. We also enjoyed our seadoo trip down the river to the big lake, neat how it's all connected!
We swam in the middle of the little shuswap lake everyday!!!!
The beach? Amazing! Most cabins have a rocky shore but this one is all sand! Beach chairs included! And only a few steps up and you are into the property. The foot shower area is brilliant too! Off comes the sand no problem!..... The property! Wow! No grass but we didn't care, Dave and Mei have a beautiful flower garden surrounding their expansive comfortable deck. Oh the hours we spent sitting in the chairs or couch on that deck! The view is fantastic while we had coffee or a cocktail😃 the flowers, the beach, the fresh water, the surrounding hills! Also lots
To watch, marina is close by. Close to neighbours but again property set up great! Trees and garden provide privacy on each side of deck. The house....set up well with every square foot of the house utilized. We had plenty room as 4 adults and two children. Nice that there is a
Sitting room for quieter time and a TV room. Cable was nice. Dvd great! No stairs, all in one level which was nice. Fans in every room to keep cooler. We found it nice that the house has a lake feel but is right in the small town of Chase. Town water which is drinkable! Short distance from grocery, dollar and liquor store. We also drove into kamloops one day to go to BC wildlife park (good!) and to the movie theatre. so neat..in Chase down from the house there
Is a kids wading pool. We enjoyed it!
Also lots of walking opportunities in Chase. We also saw people paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing out on lake. Many adventure opportunities!
I think I covered it all😃just a well rounded wonderful rental with nice owners😃😃 Out best rental yet!!!!!"

"My husband and our 2 girls (4 & 7) and I just stayed here and had a wonderful time! The smoke from the Washington fires drifted in on our second day, so even though we had hot weather this time of year, it did not feel as hot. But even amidst the smoke we still had a great time because of how well Jack and Bal have the place set up. They do such a great job of making the walk out basement feel like your very own cabin, with your own private beach. The 4 minute walk (or 6-7 min for our youngest 😉) was pretty manageable. They have a good walk way with stairs and rocky paths into the cliff to get down. Some young children or elderly may struggle a bit with this walk, or take breaks along the way. The water is beautiful, clear and a nice temperature for swimming. We loved the dock and beach, and would swim to the floating dock and jump off. The natural beach is rocky, so bring water shoes. There is a bit of sand for kids to play in closer to the cliffs. Take the kayakes out! Ellis provincial park has some public beaches just a few bays over. We brought our own paddle boards and headed there for a few afternoons. There is great cliff jumping close by that you could access with a boat or kayakes (or for us paddle boards.)
It was so convenient to have access to the shed on beach to store our girls beach toys, life jackets and paddle board paddles. Jack and Bal also have beach chairs and Loungers on the beach for renters to use.
The suite was wonderful! So well kept, clean, and nicely renovated. The kitchen has every kitchen appliances (pots, cheese grader, pans, cutler, measuring cups etc) you may need for the week, plus more! Even spices which I usually pack! There are beach towels supplied for renters to use. We loved all the beautiful spots on the deck to eat meals and over look the lake, many great sunset dinners!
It is close enough to Vernon that you do not feel to out in the wilderness, but also not too close to the city that it's still peaceful and quiet.
Overall a fantastic place to have family vacation!"
