"The pictures look amazing, but it was even better in person. Everything was clean and new and wonderful. The beds were soft and the sheets smelled so fresh. The master bathroom was beautiful. The kitchen was open and huge and had everything you could possibly want in a kitchen, and then a lot more. The deck was lovely and the view fabulous. Basically I want to move into this house and live there forever.
We were in the area for Ultraman Canada, and it's an easy and scenic drive to Penticton from the house. Also easy to hop on the UMC/Challenge Penticton course on the edge of Skaha Lake. It's close enough to town to not be inconvenient, but far enough out to be away from some of the craziness associated with big races like that. Also close to lots of vineyards, for an after party.
If you couldn't guess, yes, I would definitely go back and stay there again."

"We spent two enjoyable weeks in the South Okanagan Beach Bungalow. The beach was perfect for our 8 and 6 year old. Sand for sandcastles galore and shallow enough that the kids could walk out forever and still only be up to their waist. We rented kids kayaks on the beach for a very reasonable $5 per hour. The bungalow was close enough to the beach that we had no problem loading up the inflatable boat with towels, chairs, cooler and sand toys and walking the 5 minutes. The spray park was fun and the playground excellent. Penticton was a quick 15 minute drive down Eastside Road for mini golf on the cloudy days. Of course a little adult time at the many wineries was also enjoyed. There is no TV service but the WiFi was excellent. We made use of it on our two rainy days to watch some Netflix. Otherwise we were pleased to be off the grid. The bungalow is modest but suited us well as we don't need granite counters and stainless steel on vacation. It is well maintained but definitely 1950's era. It was large enough for our family of four and grandma and grandpa without feeling crowded. The large backyard provided additional play space for frisbee or football tossing. Diana was fantastic at answering all questions and making us feel comfortable in our selection. Definitely consider this well priced option for your vacation."
